I do not recommend for antique quilts. My aunt gave me a quilt made by my grandmother. It had been in storage and had some brown spots that I wanted removed. Since it was estimated to be well over 50 years old, we thought it would be best to dry clean it. When I went to pick it up, it looked as though nothing had been done to it. The ticket was marked as a "do over" and I left. When I went back the following week, the quilt now had colored stains on it! A couple places looked as though something blue was spilled on it, other places looked like the quilt was folded when wet and left imprints of the quilt material. A lady called the owner who said they would fix it. Went back a week later and was told they were afraid to try again so nothing was done. This was not about colors bleeding. This was poor service where someone did not handle the quilt properly during the process. As a side note - I paid in full when I first went to pick up the quilt and one other item. The quilt was $35. When the owner was contacted about a full refund she offered a 10% discount. $3.50 for the damage to my antique quilt. I told them they could keep it.

they used these sharp pin things in my 100% silk wedding dress which left holes right at the neckline that would not rub out. For such an expensive service I would expect much better care. I also took a wool coat here and they wrote my last name on the sewn in main label of the coat, which I’ve personally never had happen at a cleaners before and is super annoying.

I was very sad and disappointed with the results. I took our daughter’s wedding dress to be cleaned. We left it with them to redo and they were still unable to get it cleaned. The person who waits on the customer does not have proper, or any, communication with the ones cleaning the garments. Our daughter is getting married in August and we didn’t know what else to do. I, at least, expected a discount.😪

I own a bridal store and had a last-minute bride with her wedding in a week come in. We desperately needed to get the sample dress she purchased off-the-rack cleaned before her wedding. The Guard on market street made it happen! We had the best experience and are so appreciative! We will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend to all past-brides needed their gowns cleaned!
