I had an electrical fire in my house shortly after I purchased it and was referred to Ameridream for the restoration. Alex was great throughout the entire project which took about 6 months mostly due to waiting on approvals from insurance. I hired AmeriDream Construction to complete a fairly extensive remodel of my house, which included the entire basement and a portion of the main floor. I was very pleased with the results, but just as importantly, I was pleased with the process. At first I was happy with Alex and Ameridream, when a tree fell on our house we call our insurance who referred us to Service Masters, who in turn sent Alex to tarp our house. I didn't know much so when he said he would do all the repairs I didn't think about talking to anyone else. He has his way of doing things with insurance and getting more out of them which mostly benefited me so I didn't question it. However the work was just not that great. We had a new switch that was wired wrong killing the smart switch (that cost me $200 to fix), when contacted Alex responded once and then not again. The painter he hired painted over a light strip which killed it and damaged the wall when we had to pull it off, that cost me $100 to fix. We have spots that were not painted on the wall that I can fix myself when I get around to it. But the final kicker and why I am writing the bad review is the vent for our dryer was so poorly done that it killed our heating element and is now costing me close to $600 to fix. The interior hole for the vent is not at all lined up with the exterior and well whoever did the circle should probably go back to preschool and find out what a circle is, the "circle" is so bad that it compresses the vent and therefore killed our dryer. I contacted Alex and he said he would come by Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. This was last week and I have yet to hear from him even though I have tried following up. If you go with Ameridream make sure you check every little thing before you give him his final check....
