We had Wet Basement Services come out to fix a wet wall issue in our basement, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. John was our main point of contact and he was great to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He answered all of my questions and addressed every concern without rushing. The team handled both the water remediation and the wall replacement, and the quality of the work was solid. The crew was clean, tidy, and respectful of our space. They clearly care about doing the job right and went the extra mile to make sure everything was done properly. I highly recommend Wet Basement Services and am giving them a 5 star rating because they were able to correct our recent basement flooding issue that was created by a former contractor, USA Green Builders. WBS came out quickly and installed a sump pump with a backup pump quickly. The thing I like best about them is they explained why it was important to expand the the subfloor drain beyond where the leak was because the hydrostatic pressure would’ve found new ways to come in. Anyways happy to give them a great review because they also did the work at a fair price.

I highly recommend Wet Basement Services. They not only do a great job, they are reliable, knowledgeable, and offer a personal touch. My basement flooded twice in early November. There were multiple non-obvious issues that they helped me diagnose, with both a short term fix (installing a new pump) and a long term fix (installing a drain system in my basement). There were some particular things about my situation that made both of these non-trivial and they figured stuff out, communicated well, showed up promptly, and worked hard to get things finished.

I am delighted to offer a review of a service that was so very professional, friendly, responsive and efficient! I had a ground water penetration problem following heavy rains. Of course my thoughts were a quick caulk and seal paint but thought I should look at a professional's thoughts. John was quick to respond and came out to look and assess. He was every bit a professional in looking over what I had, explaining and showing me what was happening and explaining the right, proper and long term solution. I had a very limited time window to get the job done that they committed to work to.Once contracted they showed up on time as promissed, worked hard and finished on time. Over the last 25 years our basement was having more and more water seepage during the rainy season. In the fall of 2022 I hired Wet Basement Services to remedy the situation. Jerzy came out to my house, reviewed the situation and thoroughly explained their remedy. John and his crew did the contracted work and everything has functioned as expected. The process (cutting and grinding concrete slab) was dirtier/dustier than I had anticipated and the pump is in the basement and is somewhat louder than I was expecting, but everything has worked properly. I waited to write a review until I had gone through some rainy seasons. Their remedy worked as described and I would not hesitate to call them again for another house project or to refer Wet Basement Services to my real estate clients.

I couldn't be happier with the exceptional service and outstanding results I received from Wet Basement Services. I am a first time home buyer and got myself in a pickle where I purchased a very old house that had a previous water leaking issues in the basement. As someone who had very little knowledge on homes and understanding this was a huge issue, I received estimates from around 10 different vendors. I was surprised on how little knowledge a lot of these vendors had on water intrusion and many of these vendors suggested solutions that go against city codes. John from Water Basement Services came by and his knowledge blew everyone else out of the water. Other contractors asked me where and how the water was coming in (which I had no idea) while John was able to provide his expert opinion on the cause and was able to talk about his solution and even was able to explain why his solution was better than competitors I brought up. John cares about the quality of his work and understands that he is supporting the community in Seattle vs other companies who just want to get the job done and get out. I am very satisfied with the waterproofing work (Interior French Drain + Sump Pump) that they installed in the basement. I also had them do some framing (drywall) and help get me closer to finishing my basement. Jerzy, the owner who is great guy, also installed a beautiful ledge surrounding the framing and they also installed trim on the stairs which is beyond what I asked for. My basement is now a usable, dry space, and I owe it all to their expertise. It gives me a great peace of mind and helps me sleep a little better at night. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of basement waterproofing services.

My family hired Wet Basement Services last year when our basement flooded after a particularly heavy rain storm. After calling numerous companies (all of who were booked out for weeks) I was so lucky to find Wet Basement Services. They were busy as well, but they were able to come out after a couple of weeks. John quickly identified the issue and recommended the best system for us that also fell within our budget. Within a couple of weeks John was able to install the system, and it kept our basement dry for the past year!!! Jerzy also recently sent a follow up email to customers reminding us to check our systems ahead of the upcoming rainy season. Unfortunately our main pump appeared to have stopped but John quickly returned to our home to inspect and replace our main pump. If Jerzy hadn't reminded us to check our systems, we wouldn't have found out our main pump had malfunctioned until it rained again. The great thing is our backup pump (also recommended by WBS) was working just great the entire time, so it was comforting knowing we would have been fine anyway.
