I was very impressed with the quality of work done in my crawl space. Bio-Remediation (1) remediated the mold by scraping it off the surfaces and treating it with a non-toxic spray, (2) removed the damaged insulation material, which was moldy and falling from the floorboards, (3) encapsulated the crawl space with plastic lining on the ground and foam boards on the walls to control moisture and temperature levels, (4) sealed the exterior vents, and (5) installed a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier is linked wirelessly to a small digital console inside the home so that I can continuously monitor the humidity level in the crawl space. Everything turned out really well, the work was completed in only two days, and the cost was more affordable than the estimates I got from a variety of other businesses. They also hauled off the junk that had accumulated in the crawl space. All in all, I would highly recommend this service. See before and after photos attached.

Here’s my story. I found the company online and called the number. A gentleman immediately answered and I told him I needed my crawl space looked at for a vapor barrier replacement. He said “ok, send me your address and contact info by text and I will take a look this week”. He called about two days later and said he was heading out to the house to take a look. In my opinion, everything was great up to this point. Two days later I had not heard anything so I sent a text to see if he had made it to the house. No reply. I called a few days later and he said he was driving and would look at his files when he could stop. Never heard a word back. I was in the process of getting estimates from four other contractors and do not feel as though I should hunt this one down to do work. You either want it or you don’t. To this day I still have not heard a word. A much more responsive contractor has been hired.

We contracted with Bio-Remediation in September 2015 for: mold remediation, the structural reinforcement of the support beams under the house, the encapsulation of our crawl space and the installation of an under the house dehumidifier. We had significant structural / excessive moisture issues due to a portion of our property residing in a wetlands area. The evening of the day the work started my husband had a massive stroke and was in the hospital for 3 weeks before he passed away. During this horrific time, David the owner of the business communicated with me via email sending me ongoing progress reports with attached pictures and was very cooperative with my brother in law who acted as the go between which allowed me to focus solely on my husband. Several years ago the plumber I had hired to replace my quest piping turned off the dehumidifier under the house while working in the crawlspace and in error failed to select the right options when restarting the unit which caused the unit to freeze up and permanently damaged the unit which resulted in the unit needing to be replaced. Bio-Remediation again was very responsive and reasonable, and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They could not have been better to work with from the beginning. I know I can continue to count on them and if I could I would rate them more than 5 stars.
