JES did an excellent job on our crawl space. We had water accumulating around the whole perimeter of the crawl space. We had also had a toilet leak causing black mold, which had been professionally cleaned up, but we wanted fresh insulation. The JES team arrived on schedule and worked diligently to remove the insulation above and the flimsy plastic that covered the earthen floor of the crawl space. They then laid rubber matting and white membrane over the dirt and put thick styrofoam on the walls. They dug a trench around the perimeter and installed 2 sump pumps and 2 dehumidifiers to deal with future water. Meanwhile a separate team arrived to put foam under our patio to stop it from sliding away from the house. Everyone called before they arrived and each member of this large team was always professional and answered all questions thoroughly. They cleaned up well each day which I thoroughly appreciate. I want to add that Brian Swain was an amazing leader and manager of his 5 to 7 man crawl space team. He kept the project on schedule, kept me informed about progress and what would happen when, and always made himself available to answer questions. Thank you, Brian! Bryan Rutherford did a great job putting foam under the patio and sealing where it meets the house. The crawl space team, Gio Ordonez, Mohamed Kamara, and Pedro Llontop worked hard each day and were always professional. Superintendent Demetrius Cooper came by to ensure everything was going well and he answered additional questions and made great recommendations. Overall the whole crew was excellent. I highly recommend this team, their dedication to doing the work well and their professionalism.

My home had multiple issues before encapsulation - mildew on clothes and furniture, mold on ceilings, an awful smell, and poor air quality. After meeting with sales representatives from several companies, I ultimately chose JES because of their representative Manny. Unlike others, he never used high-pressure tactics. Instead, he was knowledgeable, honest, and simply presented the facts allowing me to make my decision at my own pace. That really stood out to me. Once the project began, the process moved quickly and efficiently. Walter the foreman and my main point of contact, was outstanding - professional, informative, and personable. He kept me updated and gave me end of day summaries. The crew itself worked seamlessly together, like a well-oiled machine, and represented JES with the highest level of professionalism. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to go with JES, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering crawlspace encapsulation.

Out in the NNK, JES delivered top-notch service. Scott Beers, the technician, arrived early, was extremely thorough, and a pleasure to work with. He was both professional and personable, and the finished job was exceptionally clean and well done. Thank you!

A JES Repair & Subsequent Warranty Repair Transformed into a $25,000 Repair Proposal In 2018, our home's previous owners noticed the front porch sinking and pulling away from the house. Apparently when the home was built the soil was not compacted prior to installing the concrete porch pad. JES proposed helical piers under the porch to hold it up and potentially move it back to its original position. Prior to the start of the work, JES determined that helical piers were not the preferred repair and suggested slab piers, which JES installed for about $8,000. Afterward, the owner applied a porch deck coating to the concrete surface (see pic with red chair). We bought the home in 2019 and the JES warranty was transferred to us in 2023. It reads, in part, "Contractor warrants that the slab piers will stabilize the affected area(s) against further vertical movement for a period of ten (10) years from the date of installation.” In 2024 circular protrusions started appearing on the porch floor. These protrusions mark the tops of the piers JES installed; as the porch continues sinking, it pushes down on the piers and shows the displacement through the floor. In time both the concrete and the floor coating cracked and popped loose on top of the protrusions (see picture with arm of grey chair). After multiple unreturned calls to JES, a visit to their office finally resulted in a warranty repair in early 2024. JES drilled holes, pumped polyfoam under the porch, and lifted it slightly back into position. Unfortunately, it became apparent that the porch was still sinking and the foam began forcing up through the cracks around the protuberances. In October-November of this year, to its credit, JES contacted us to inquire about the state of the repair. I told them the repair failed and JES came out to have a look at it. JES determined that the porch did not have a proper footing installed and was still sinking. As the technician described it, "the slab piers and poly injections previously installed were effective in stabilizing the central portion of the structure. However, the perimeter of the porch does not have a proper footing, and that area has now begun to settle." After JES determined that their previous repairs were "effective," they proposed sinking push piers around the edge of the porch and adding a steel footing that would rest on the piers for $25,000 after "discounts." I am no contract expert or engineer, but this seems nonsensical; the porch is still sinking just as it was in 2018 after JES installed the original piers and just as it continued to do in 2024 when JES pumped foam underneath it. JES feels that the perimeter of the porch is sinking because of the insufficient footing while the rest of it remains stable due to their piers and polyfoam, but it's the same concrete slab - the perimeter is attached to the interior. How can one concrete slab actively and simultaneously sink while still somehow remaining stable? I cited the warranty guarantee "that the slab piers will stabilize the affected area(s) against further vertical movement for a period of ten (10) years from the date of installation” but JES declined it because of their belief that the porch perimeter - rather than its middle - is now the actual location of the problem. JES did not indicate why it failed to see this in 2018. When I reminded JES that the warranty guarantees against vertical movement - and that the porch is still sinking - they ceased correspondence. Another foundation repair company looked at the problem and proposed the same solution - piers around the edge and a steel footing - for $10,000. The original issue is not corrected, the porch is still sinking, JES says the warranty does not apply for reasons that at best are difficult to comprehend, and their proposed repair is more than double that of a respected competing company. We're going with the competitor and are thankful we did not pay JES for the original $8,000 worth of work that failed to solve the problem and for which JES wants an additional $25,000 to try again.

Luis and his crew were fantastic! They worked extremely hard to get everything done in three days and did a thorough and professional job. I have every confidence we will not have to worry about a leaky downstairs ever again and God forbid we do have an issue they provide a 100% lifetime warranty. People in our neighborhood who have used JES in the past have told us they have not had any issues with their homes since. Steve Conlan was our consultant and explained the entire process in detail. We probably wore him out with all our texts and calls but he answered all of them promptly and allayed the fears we had over committing to such a monumental task. He handled all our paperwork for us making the experience seamless.

JES delivers a quality service at a very reasonable price. The inspection was a quick turnaround and scheduling the work was easy and adjusted to my schedule. The work itself, foundation crack, was handled quickly and professionally. The work team Osman Ochoa, Jose Vasquez, Rudi Gonzales were professional, courteous and made a point to explain what they were doing and why. I appreciate the explanation and desire to ensure customer satisfaction.

Overall very happy with JES. Communication from the firm was timely and responsive from quote to final inspection. I was especially pleased with the guys who worked on site- Brian, Gio, Mohammed, and Davey did a great job getting the work done quickly and thoroughly. They went above in beyond in making sure the work was done (even repairing some undiscovered foundation cracks). The electrician stayed late to make sure everything stayed on schedule. Overall, would recommend. They install a premium product with service to match- while it's expensive, it's high value (and they can help you get 2 year no interest financing.)

Part 1 - due to length of review. This review is long overdue; however, very necessary. In August 2025, JES was contracted to complete a foundation waterproofing project. From start to finish Robert Tennyson, the Project Field Inspector, was very professional, informative and customer service oriented. He took the time to walk-thru the project, performed detail inspection, participated in at least two (2) follow up virtual meetings, and allowed us the time to make an informed decision. He did not overpressure us as we took almost a year to move forward in making a final determination after months of researching, and considering and securing financial feasibility. He was supportive and stepped in when others in the communication chain did not provide detail explanations. Moreover, Robert made it a priority to meeting me in-person during the project when a few concerns arose and immediately provided feasible solutions. Additionally, there was an HVAC project which needed to be performed in tandem with the JES project for which an independent HVAC company was selected. Mr. Tennyson was willing to meet with the HVAC company to coordinate and ensure the appropriate steps were taken to ensure the project was executed properly in tandum. He made it easy for us to step back and allow the experts to plan, coordinate and execute. Secondly, I would like to acknowledge and recognize Rudy Gonzalez, the Superintendent, Jose Rubio, Site Project Manager, Robert, and David Perdomo, team members. This individual did an excellent job in the execution and completion of the project from start to finish with a standard of excellence and professional. In summary, Jose Rubio, and his team, took the time to stage and properly seal off the required areas of the home prior to starting the project. Each day the team left the work clean and free of debris and trash. Each day, they arrived on time and prepared to work the day with little to no disruption to our daily activities. From my observation each of the individuals mentioned above knew their daily assignments and came to work with a positive attitude and ready to get the job done. Moreover, at the conclusion of the job, Jose took the necessary time to perform a thorough inspection and walk-thru with us to ensure customer satisfaction. It is definitely worth mentioning that during the course of the project there were two (2) matters of concern that did arise, which required the Superintendent, Rudy Gonzalez be contacted for resolution. Mr. Gonzalez, did not hesitate to immediately follow-up with me and schedule a time to meet me on the job site. In regard to the first matter, Mr. Gonzalez took the necessary steps to assess the situation, provide a solution and take corrective action. In the second matter, as a result of the subcontractor electrician, Mr. Gonzalez, immediately arrived on-site to assess the matter, took accountability although the issue was NOT caused by the JES team; but the subcontractor electrician. Mr. Gonzalez and Mr. Tennyson, both demonstrated excellent customer service, high professional and emotional intelligence in how they addressed the situation. Both parties acknowledged my frustrations as a homeowner who prides oneself in the maintenance and upkeep of our home and expressed sincere sympathy and empathy as I articulated my concerns. Needless to say, it is unrealistic to believe with a project of this magnitude that obstacles or issues will not arise. What is important and vital is how the company, service provider and/or representatives of the company respond. In both matters Mr. Gonzalez and Mr. Tennyson took the appropriate measures and corrective actions to ensure the matters were resolved to my satisfaction.

I have always had excellent service experiences with JES since becoming a customer in 2021, and today was no exception. Ben Rhodenizer (and Justin), provided truly outstanding service during their visit to inspect my sump pump. I had been concerned because I hadn’t heard my sump pump run in about a month, even though it normally cycles regularly. Ben and Justin inspected everything inside and out and took the time to walk me through each step. They found no issues with the pump or my waterproofing system, and they confirmed that everything is functioning exactly as it should. Their attention to detail was fantastic, checking for any signs of water intrusion, evaluating the surrounding drywall and baseboards, and even reviewing the exterior cracks compared to previous visits. They also went above and beyond by replacing my damaged yardwell lid that my landscapers damaged! What I appreciated most was how caring and informative they were. They reviewed all their findings with photos, answered every question, and explained the benefits of adding a battery backup pump to support my system, something I’m now seriously considering. They even followed up promptly with an email quote. Overall, Ben and Justin were a great team that provided top notch service, exceptional communication, and real peace of mind. I’m grateful for their expertise and would highly recommend JES to anyone needing sump pump or waterproofing support.

We had a great experience with JES Foundation Repair. Communication was great and all three gentlemen that we worked with were so professional and great to work with. We first had Manuel C. come to the house and he did a great job explaining the process and answering all our questions. The two gentlemen that completed the job were Bryan R. and Austin H., they explained the process as well and did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend!
