DO NOT USE! I repeat, DO NOT USE! We had our crawl space encapsulated a few years ago and it has completely failed. We had to hire other professionals to come fix JES's work because when I called them, I was told "Sorry, we did the minimum required work and you're out of warranty." They have not returned my phone call and are only interested in creating new tickets to charge us more money instead of correcting their previous work and making it right. The new company that we hired said "whoever did this encapsulation either didn't know what they were doing or didn't expect you to find out." Encapsulations are supposed to improve energy efficiency, enhance indoor air quality, and protect the home's structure from moisture-related damage, pests, and mold and JES's encapsulation has literally done the complete opposite. So not only do we have to hire a company to fix their work, we now have to hire others to fix all of the problems that we've had because of their work. Do yourself a favor, skip the headache, time, waste of money, and most importantly the health and safety of your family and home, AVOID JES!

I recently had JES come out to repair a small section of sidewalk and my front porch. When we were sold on the foam treatment, we were told they would leave just a few small holes. Instead, I was left with a large, uneven, black mound on the porch (I included photos). When I asked the crew why it looked like that, they told me I could just grind it down or paint the entire porch to hide it. There was also a gap left between the slab and the brick that we never discussed. When I asked if they planned to caulk it, I was told not to worry about it—and then offered to pay $600 if I wanted them to do it. I followed up with the salesman, Blake, more than once and never got any resolution. This was all after they refused to honor an emailed 15% discount, claiming it was a “marketing mistake” even though we called to book immediately. I would not recommend this company to anyone. What you’re told and what you actually get are two very different things, and when you ask for help afterward, you’re pretty much ignored. They’ll probably respond saying they don’t know who I am because this account uses a nickname, but they know exactly who they did this work for. Avoid.

Had my crawlspace job with JES done by Luis, Jaime, and Henry. They did a great job and the crawlspace looks like night and day from what it started off as. The guys were professional and I always knew when they’ll get to my house each day that they came to work on the encapsulation/conditioning of my crawl space. I always got a text in the morning at least an hour before they showed up with a link to a tracker that showed me exactly where they are and how far to the minute, and it would notify me when they got here. Luis kept me informed of the progress every step of the way and always debriefed on how much is left everyday before they went home. Its the little things and they did the little things on top of doing a great job installing everything and even lifting my floors that was starting to sag due to the age of my home. Overall great job by all three, would highly recommend them.

So I contacted JES to get a quote on crawlspace encapsulation. We were then contacted by Joseph McCullough. We made an appointment to schedule an inspection. He was prompt, courteous and professional. We did finally decide on the job, but unfortunately were unable to go through with the home improvement at this time. I do however recommend him if you are thinking of any type of foundation repairs.

Had an opportunity to have Brook Adwell from JES over to review the work that was done. In investigating he provided me information of the continuing moisture problem, because of the soil problem in the surrounding areas and how to correct my issue. I was informed how JES had done this work to other customers and can be done in our house. He was clear and straight forward with all the information and cost. I think most people would agree that when discussing foundation issues with your our home, it is not a pleasant or enjoyable experience. That is not the case if John Trak comes to your home. It was enjoyable. Some would even say fun. Our recently purchased home is older and displays signs of mild to moderate settlement in the floors, along with some cracks in the drywall. We decided to call JES to schedule an inspection of the foundation and crawlspace. When John arrived, he listened to our initial concerns and followed up with a series of targeted questions, that were so thorough, they preemptively addressed any follow-up points we might have had. John allowed me to join him during the inspection in the crawl space, taking the time to point the good, bad, and ugly - thoroughly explaining every aspect of the crawlspace; how it works and implications and long term effects of any poor work that has been done throughout the years . As a new home owner, the 25mins in the crawl space with John was invaluable. After the inspection, John told us what absolutely needs to be done, areas for us to continue to monitor, and services they offer that could provide additional enhancements for the longevity of the home. At no point did we feel we were being offered unnecessary services. He has an infinite wealth of knowledge in all things regarding foundations. To say he is an absolute professional would be an understatement. Just a great experience overall. I will go as far to say that if my dog had a house and that house had foundation issues, I would call JES without hesitation. That's saying something.
