Working with Blackhill Restoration turned a very stressful moment into something much more manageable. Our ceiling got water damage a few days before our wedding, and Blackhill came out promptly to assess the damage. They helped us work with our insurance company to wait until after the wedding to begin restoration, which was very appreciated. We mostly worked with Will, and I was very impressed by his level of communication, knowledge, and amicability. It's always jarring to have people coming into your home day after day, but Will, and the other people at Blackhill Restoration were all the epitome of professionalism and put us at ease. I would definitely recommend this company and will be working with them again should more horrible things happen to our house haha.

Worked with Blackhill for some water damage issues when our AC leaked in our house. I will say that they were quick to come out and started drying up everything fast. They said they could do come and start the renovation on our flooring within the next few days and move us out which my husband and I thought was moving a little fast so we asked them for a quote which they said they would give us a quote once the work was done. We ended up going with a different company to do our new floors. Tina is amazing. She is very nice and easy to work with and great with communication. Overall Id give the experience 3 stars because we felt like some of the guys we were working with at the beginning were not being transparent on cost.

I had a leak in my kitchen. Tyree came out immediately and started the process of getting it all right again!! He spoke to my insurance adjuster so the claim went smoothly and quickly. Tyree was my project manager. He and Will were on top of it all! Super easy to get in touch with, answered all my questions (even when I asked the same question more than once), polite and understanding. He kept me informed of what to do and/ or expect next. I hope I won't need this kind of service in the future but I have Tyree and Blackhill's number saved in my phone.

My daughter’s room flooded from the water heater. We called Blackhill and they were there almost immediately. They handled the whole process efficiently and professionally, answering all of our questions along the way. We worked with LC, Ryan, and Tyree- all of which were wonderful to work with. Having a water loss is a very stressful experience but we’re grateful Blackhill showed up and took care of everything. They definitely made it way less stressful!

At first, the company ignored me and did not arrive at the scheduled time, then rescheduled the appointment. During the first remediation, they broke a lightbulb and did not inform me. After that, they failed the inspection, which they did not pay for, and I had to make sure the cost was not transferred to me. In the end, I was not charged. When they returned for the second remediation, they unplugged my security camera without notifying me. Most importantly, they missed the same mold spot twice in a row, which forced me to call them back again instead of having the inspector identify it. Even during the most recent inspection, inconsistencies were found, and the inspector had to escalate to management on how to proceed. So far, this resulted in five cleanings, three paid inspections, and one critical spot I personally identified before the inspector, which had already been mentioned in earlier reports. Another major downside: the company does not proactively communicate. They do not notify you when they will arrive or help schedule properly — everything has to be chased down by the customer, which creates chaos. I was fortunate to be working from home and able to monitor the process, but it still took significant time and energy. Imagine the burden this would create for people who cannot supervise because they work outside the home. Overall, this experience should have been 1 out of 5, but since they did eventually complete the process, I give 3 out of 5 with the hope that they will improve.

Brandon and his team are outstanding. They are highly professional and attentive, quickly addressing all my concerns. The team worked diligently to dismantle the drywall and sealed off our living area with plastic from top to bottom, preventing any dust or odor from spreading to other areas of the home. Additionally, they made sure to clean up the work area at the end of each day.
