Before I start my review I want to add that for reference, in a past life I used to be a dept head at a Home Depot Tool Rental dept and helped advise a lot of people on DIY projects and worked in hospital operations overseeing the construction of new hospitals for one of the big hospitals here in Houston. I looked around and researched a lot of companies before deciding finally with the Green Home Solutions Team and right off the bat they were professional, courteous, and most importantly prompt. Mold in any degree of severity is not a matter to take lightly, especially when it comes to your family at home. Juan was quick to inspect and give me a proposal regarding what he found and felt was necessary to help with the remediation of mold. While some people witnessing inspections this may wonder how they could conclude their diagnosis with a few simple tests, I assure you the quick tests and experience held by their team can legit confirm the presence of mold based on industry standards and confirmed symptoms of mold. Regarding the proposal, I know many people would initially have sticker shock and feel that “I can do it myself…” and to be honest I felt the same way too… until I did an actual cost break down. I would suggest anyone who gets the inspection done and a proposal sent, compare the actual cost piece by piece of equipment rental (I’m sure most people don’t keep HEPA filter air scrubbers or industrial dehumidifiers in their garage), remediation solution, and consider the time you vs. a team coming into to finish the task and see if that cost is actually offset by doing it yourself. One of the most impressive parts of their service was that they sealed and created a confined barrier space (see pictures) to help contain the area where they treated for mold. The barrier was made from thick contractor grade plastic sheeting, not the flimsy plastic painters sheeting that some people use to block paint from hitting the floor. Again with materials, air scrubbers and the dehumidifier rentals, that alone is a big chunk of cost in this project. They were open to conversation about any concerns and did not give off the “ I’m the pro here…” vibes that some companies may give off at any time during our service. I cannot speak for all the satisfied customers regarding cost, but the break down showed that all things considered, leave it to the pros who guarantee’s their work. They were transparent in what they found, plan to do, and following up. The team came out during the recent artic cold front we had in Texas and worked in the sleeting weather and throughout it all was very accommodating to my family that was stuck at home due to the weather. Their service and attitude gave my family and me the reassurance that we’re trusting the pro’s to help with our (small) mold problem and as cliché’ as it may sound makes their services worth every cent. Green Home Solutions team, 100% would recommend.

These folks are 5 star best in class. We had a jacuzzi tub leak and a shower leak. I called 3 companies to come out and quote. Green Home Solutions was the most professional, most comprehensive in what they do and best price. They did an incredible job of remediating all the damage along with disinfecting our home from top to bottom. I’ve never breathed better in my home as I did when they were finished.
