We had a 3-man crew from AFS install a basement waterproofing system in October 2025. Trent, Darian, and Cole were polite, professional, and very efficient. In less than 2 days, the work was completed. Trent walked through the job with us, explained the installed equipment, and we were very satisfied with the results. We highly recommend AFS.

UPDATE At first every thing was great, customer service was excellent. Great warranty for a settling slab. It's been settling again for almost a year. Huge chasms under foundation still. We've been trying to get them to put more foam. My wife has been reassured this would be fixed multiple times, they even came out once and then did nothing but put some dirt over it. This would be at least 4th time I can remember us trying to get this fixed! Please do something!? I packed dirt into the holes because I can't leave it exposed like that to the rain but it still needs more foam! 🥲 They came out and fixed the problem. Thank you guys so much, shout out to Zack

I believe Ian and Ben was our estimate person who stuck with us for over a year and a half and worked a couple different estimates for us! We had Ridley, Kyle, and another gentleman that I can’t remember his name encapsulated our crawlspace. They were professional, honest, and reliable. They seem to really enjoy the work they do and the don’t well. I was happy everything was clean and tidy when they left. Y’all have some awesome workers

Matthew Ridley and Shawn Lowe came and completed foundation work for us today in bad weather/ icy road conditions when most people would have stayed home. The work was done in a timely manner, and they cleaned up after themselves once the job was complete. They communicated with us throughout the process and spoke to us once the job was complete to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. 100% recommend them for your foundation repair needs!

UPDATE: Although, it took more time than anyone would have desired, we DID get response and received help from one person from AFS who genuinely seemed to care. His name is Cameron. Cameron came out and looked at the work and fixed what was not taken care of. He actually listened to our concerns and complaints and responded. The issue with the stone skirting has been taken care of also. I asked Cameron if he would get supplies to us, so that we could finish the painting of the stone, we would appreciate it very much. He got cement, tools, a pail and coloring so that we can match the colors we need to make the stone look complete. We both recomend Cameron, who is a very important part of AFS in Knoxville. We definately give 5 stars to this man for everything good that came out of all the frustration. We called AFS out of Knoxville last March. Eli came and gave us a price and a drawing of everything that would be done for the price he quoted. We asked if this would help keep our home warmer on the floor. Eli said yes it would. We thought great! Eli sold us on their company. In April of 2024, 3 young guys came out and spent 2 days working under our manufactured home. In early July I walked passed one of our vents that was partially open. I could see underneath our home. They had never finished the work that we were paying for. We then realized why the dehumidifier they put under our home, was constantly running. Our bills were never so high. The guys had shown us pictures of their work. But had we known, we would have had them show what they had done up higher. After finding out that they never finished, nor did they make the door correctly, we realized that they never put the shims in that were in the drawing with our quote. We kept trying to get people from AFS to come look at what happened. Or rather, didn't happen. After several different people from AFS came out, one at a time, they had Todd come out. We told him what we were told would be done, plus we showed him the drawing and the quote. He told us that for 6,000.00 more, they would do it . Not way, this was what they said they would do. Not only did we not hear from any of the men that had come to look at what they left us with, they would not answer calls. We finally got to Cameron, from AFS the most friendly and we felt we were finally more than a number. We had been told by most of the rest of the guys who came here, that they would help us out, they would do what needed to be done to make us happy and finish the job. After almost a year, and we believed it was all finished. We were wrong. Each place they had connected their product to our skirting, we wound up seeing cracks. Cracks that were not there previously. We could also see silver shinny spots from what they connected their product to the skriting. Cameron came out and tried to mix colors to match all the spots and cracks. Nothing matched. AFS, hired a man who is a Mason. He said he had worked for AFS and decided to go out on his own he said he had worked 27 to 30 years doing masonry work. We finally felt we would be finish and move foward. Nope. After Carlos told us that he was done with the work, that the cement color would match perfectly after it dries. Nope. We have contacted Carlos and Cameron and are now left with a job that is VERY UNACCEPTABLE.. Carlos said he'd be back take a look at it. 2 months later and nothing. We had been asked to write a different review from our first one. We can not tell people to choose AFS. This should not have taken this long, and several phone calls and texts to still have an unacceptable Would this be acceptable to anyone else for 900.00? It's our skirting, all around our home. Our floors are just as cold as ever. We were lied to. No recommendations from from us.

UPDATED WITH NEW INFORMATION. NEW RATING I am updating this review based on AFS performance once we finally made contact. This was formerly a 1 star review; I am changing it to 5 stars. The first review detailed my difficulties in getting into contact with AFS to deal with issues from their work on my house. It turns out the difficulties were mostly beyond the company's control. My service person was no longer employed by the company, and didn't have access to the number I was calling. Additionally, there are still websites like Google and others with an old telephone number that is no longer monitored. Once I finally got in touch with a live person and explained my situation, they reponded immediately. Cameron, the local Service Manager, came out on the call personally, along with Eli, my new technician. They surveyed the issues, scheduled a crew to fix the issues, and then tested and verified that the foundation is still stable. Based on Cameron and Eli's response, I am once again happy with my decision to go with AFS. I do want them to iron out their communications system; leaving messages in a dead voicemail box is not a great way to do things.

ASF came out to enclose my crawl space. These guys Matthew Ridley, Coby Stealey, and Shawn Lowe have great customer service. They were polite and professional. Once the job was complete it was like they were never here, no mess to be found. During the process they kept use informed on the progress. Fred Hayman the field inspector came out to do the initial inspection and took his time. He explained all options and answered our questions. Overall very satisfied with the project.

Great company to work with. Ian was very communicative through out the whole process, answering all of my questions. Jacob was also wonderful during our pre-walk and post-walk explaining what was done and ensuring that we were 100% satisfied before they left. I would absolutely recommend them.

AFS did a job for us on our home in Pigeon Forge. Johnathan told us how great they were. So we proceeded to have the tie back anchors done to help secure our home for a lifetime. Upon completion 6 of 8 of our anchors were loose which is obviously doing nothing. You could spin them with a touch of your finger. Nobody even cared. We called and called with no response. After a few weeks we got an appointment for 3 weeks out. At this point it’s been 2 months. They didn’t show or call. Still trying to digest how badly our 12,000 went to waste. I have been nothing but cordial to them so don’t waste your time being nice. They don’t care. Save your money. A company is only as good as how they treat you once they have your money. I’ll keep this updated.

We had our yearly inspection and service performed today. Andy F. came out and did a thorough service. He made sure everything was working correctly and gave us suggestions to make sure everything around the crawlspace and foundation were good for the long term. Andy was friendly, personable and professional. He was not only an experienced technician for AFS, but was an experienced home builder for over 10 years. He's the kind of person you want to come to your home to make sure everything is working the way you'd expect. For now and the future. Thank you AFS and thank you Andy!
