I recently had my 2,700 sq ft crawlspace encapsulated by Mount Valley Foundation, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience—from start to finish! If you're dealing with a large, complex space like mine (complete with 17 vents and 23 piers), these folks make the process seamless and stress-free. Right from the initial consultation, Jason was an absolute pro. He walked us through every detail of the project, including financing options, with such clarity and patience that we felt confident in our decision from day one. It was straightforward and hassle-free—no high-pressure tactics, just genuine expertise. Then came the installation team: Joe, Chris, and James. What a fantastic crew! They dove right in, meticulously removing all the old insulation and plastic, and kept the worksite spotless every single day—vacuuming up debris and protecting our home like it was their own. They wrapped and sealed everything with precision, handling the scale of our crawlspace like it was no big deal. The whole job wrapped up in just three efficient days, leaving us with a dry, energy-efficient space that's going to save us a bundle long-term. What really set them apart was the communication. Joe kept us in the loop throughout, sending photos at the end of each day so we could see the progress without even stepping foot down there. It built so much trust and made the whole thing feel collaborative. Mount Valley Foundation exceeded every expectation. If you're considering crawlspace encapsulation, look no further—these guys deliver top-notch work with outstanding service. Highly recommend!

We had Mount Valley Foundation complete a foundation repair on February 9, 2026. Kevin A, Chris W, and Mason T, were the workmen who completed our job. They were polite, attentive, and worked like a well-oiled machine. They had great attention to detail, replaced yard items that had to be moved, and even raked the marks left by their equipment. I have rarely seen a team that did as good.

MVFS did a great job eliminating my moisture issue in my crawlspace on Hilton Head Island. I was getting significant subfloor and joist rot due to the ongoing moisture problem being trapped by the insulation. Daniel, Nathan, and their teams were very professional and worked tirelessly to remediate the issue before it turned into a major issue.

We had the best onsite crew (Joe, Chris and Jauan) I have ever dealt with. They were courteous, knowledgeable efficient and left the property as clean as they found it. Their work looks great and I tend to believe Mount Valley will stand behind it if we have any problems in the future. If Mount Valley is as good as their workers proved to be we will be extremely satisfied….Thanks

We got our crawl space encapsulated a couple years ago with Mount Valley. We needed a repair on the entryway and Nathan came out to get that done. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and got the job done efficiently and in a reasonable time. He went above and beyond by relocating a wall mounted plastic box that was overlapping our crawl space door! This will make it much easier to open and access the crawl space in the future! He also organized the wires and cables near the entrance and cleaned up the debris there too. Overall a great experience working with Nathan!

They fully repaired two sections of concrete that were collapsed and filled in the cracks they made it look almost perfect. I wasn’t expecting that slab to look as good as it did, but they did a great job💯 they were very professional, excellent to detail. Two thumbs up 👍🏽 👍🏽 for both of the guys and the company.

Be aware that this company does not fulfill its obligations or follow up as promised on any work performed by their crews. Glenn Joyner, the initial contact had a great sales pitch, and promised they could fix the issues we were experiencing, and we moved forward. They installed jacks in the areas I was told would solve my issues. Upon inspection by their team, their crew identified numerous issues, and acknowledged that errors were made and needed correction. While not pleased, I allowed them to assess and return to reinstall supports properly and Sergio their manager assured me that all efforts would be made to lift the areas overtime to solve the issues caused by improper location of jacks. They again installed in the wrong spots in my home, identified by the next crew there were more errors, and now refuse to fix the issues as promised. They have made multiple appointments with me to address issues and either no showed or showed up unprepared to address the problems on five different occasions. If you choose to do work with this company, you will be disappointed. I spent $25,000 plus to create a different set of issues. Will be seeking legal advice going forward. I typically do not leave bad reviews but this company has no business ethics or customer service.

I hired Mount Valley for a complete floor system replacement (main beam, new joists, and subfloor) about 400 sqft. You can see the attached pictures of their workmanship. The subfloor had a lot of movement around the edges when you would step on it, gaps greater than one inch between seams, lips between plywood of a quarter inch, they ripped off most of the tongue and groove, improperly supported plywood sheets, improperly installed hangers.... They broke a plumbing drain pipe during work, which, no big deal. However they fixed it entirely wrong and it had large negative slope. Had to get them out again to re-fix. They did come back after their initial work to fix some of the issues seen in these photos. Got it to the point of "I can make that work". However, still at the end of the day the work is very sub-par. We had to float out most of the floor with patch and leveler to get it to a point where we could install flooring. You can still feel mountains and valleys as you walk across which is I guess how they came up with their name. What might be most concerning is what my foreman Thomas Jones said on the day he came back to fix the issues... "just so you know sir, your floors are fine. We are only back here because you are not happy. I walked the whole thing with the city inspector and we passed. He was tubby so he couldn't get underneath but I sent him 100 photos. Your floors are fine. If you installed flooring you would know that they are fine." So... this is the work they think is acceptable. I believe the photos speak for themselves. For the astronomical prices they charge, I would expect excellent workmanship. I have more of the same work that needs to be done in other areas of the house and definitely will not be hiring this company again.
