The AMAZING before and after photos of my basement. Old house (c. 1881) in Fairmount. I have a stone foundation with some brick and the parging (stucco) was crumbling off, everywhere. Dependable Concrete was THE BEST. I am super picky and dont have many contractors that I can say noce things about. Vince was communicative, knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it. Watch his youtube page and you will understand exactly what he gets into and how thorough it is. He is a detail guy and never said no to a request. And to top it all off, the most fair price ever for the amount of work that had to be done.

I'm very satisfied with the services received. It really enhanced the appearance of the property. My front steps were in really bad shape and Vince of Dependable Concrete came through and made them new. Even received compliments from several neighbors. That's how bad they were. I highly recommend Dependable Concrete for you property restoring and renewing services. Looking forward to doing more business with Vince.

From coming out to give me an estimate the day I called, to getting the job scheduled a week later, and finished in less than a week, Vince and his team were professional, on time, and did great work. My dungeon like basement hasn’t been used since I moved in 7 years ago, so when I finally decided to see how I could make it into a useful space, Vince walked me through the whole process. Now I can actually enjoy being down there and have gained so much useful space. I’ll definitely be using Dependable Concrete for any future content jobs and would recommend them to anyone.

EDIT: See my original review below. Unfortunately, all of the concrete they put in cracked less than 12 months later. We just had it all replaced with a different contractor. We had four other contractors come and look at it and they ALL said Vince and his crew cut the concrete wrong and shouldn't have done a "saw cut." Anyway, we wasted about $3,000 on work that we had to get done again less than a year later. Super disappointed and upset that we wasted our money and time. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for your concrete needs. Vince and his crew were great to work with! They put all new cement on our back patio which was completely cracked and letting moisture into our crawl space and foundation. They also removed a small basketball court for us so we can replace it with grass. Their work was wonderful, lots of attention to detail. We are already planning future projects that we will definitely have them do for us once we save enough money to move forward with them.

We had our driveway redone. We spent close to $4000 for a single car driveway. It was a relatively simple job, with easy access and not complex. Not only did the installer make a mess of everything, their work didn't last 6 months. Poor effort, lazy craftsmanship and complete disregard to attention to detail. We requested several times to have them repair the shoddy work they performed. Received lip service and empty promises. Here we are 8+ months later, negative $4000 and our driveway is hardly any better than when these charlatans arrived. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. FRAUDS!

I have waited to write this review hoping that this company's choices would change the rating and comments, but it unfortunately has not. This is my first negative review. I'd rather not write it, but we are so disappointed we do not want the same results for others who may also be new to the area and rely on reviews when making their contractor decisions. We hired Dependable Concrete to come and put down some self-leveling concrete in our residential basement. The floor had been very uneven, and we wanted a smooth surface from which to work from. We received the quote quickly, but communication after that was difficult. At the end of February we were told that they would get to our project in March. So, all March we wondered when. Asked when. We were told one weekend and then no one came. The last Sunday of March they arrived to begin. Their demo work was fast and efficient. They did all the demo and prepared the floor with a skim coat of concrete in less than 4 hours. Vincent and his team returned another day the following week to "finish the job". After we let the self-leveling concrete set up for a day or two we inspected the results. We were pretty disappointed. Multiple lines and edges from the skim coat still remained higher than the self leveling concrete. We had sought to end up with a smooth concrete surface and we kept finding rough edges all around the basement floor. We do not claim to be concrete experts, but we felt that had the team taken the time to grind down some of the areas of skim coat before putting on the self-leveling concrete, that this would have resulted in a satisfactory job. We emailed Vincent (April 6) to explain our disappointment with the project, included the pictures in this review, and asked him to consider coming back out to complete the work. He responded within the week and said that he would stop down during the next week to review the work and then schedule repairs. This was Around mid April. He never came. He has said he'd "definitely" come more than once. We are still waiting for him to come, and our basement project has been delayed because of this. If it was just an experience of poor communication, and the job was satisfactory, I would not be writing this review. But poor communication AND a poor outcome overall is extremely disappointing. Should they come and repair the work, I will certainly add that information to this review. I hope to do so soon!

Phenomenal company. Had my driveway renovated to accommodate a heavy SUV which was breaking the current driveway apart little by little. The driveway needed to be reconstructed and widened . These guys came, took up the old concrete, dug up the grass widened to my specifications, hauled away all that material. They leveled, pitched and poured a thick stone base down. I was so shocked to see them back up a huge cement truck with that big cement tumbler pouring concrete for my new driveway. The end results are the envy of the neighbors.

From estimate to final bill, Vince and his crew were consummate professionals. I remarked that I feel like we traveled back to a time when people took real pride in their work. They cleaned as they went; they communicated when they had a weather delay; they treated our patio furniture as if it was theirs, moving it around with great care and protecting it from any of their work. Each person on the crew (and it's a large crew!) worked with a dedication to perfection that I haven't seen in a very long time. I honestly can't say enough good about this company. They bid more than fairly and they delivered more than we ever imagined when we first began the project. They promised me I'd be happy and they were wrong. I'm not just happy - I'm thrilled!! Now I'm looking for more projects for them to do just because it was such a pleasure working with them!
