The manager I spoke with was rude and extremely defensive and expected me to blindly sign a contract where I could be billed for an endless list of services and fees that he refused to tell me were related to my specific need. He had all the excuses in the world why he had no idea what I would be charged at all. He couldn't give me any idea at all. I am willing to pay whatever people say they are worth when I am paying for a service, and I understand an exact quote can not be given. That's normal and expected. I simply wanted some kind of clarity on what services and admin and dispatch and etc fees would be charged because there was quite a list sent to me. He spoke of fees that weren't even on the contract and my asking about it really upset him. He eventually let me know I would also be billed $350 for our 20 minute, I'm sorry 26 minute phone call since that would fall under one of the admin fees. There was no transparency and this is case in point. I guess signing over a blank check is normal and asking questions is a form of stupidity. Be careful with this company! By the way, it isn't unheard of or unreasonable, it's called SCOPE OF SERVICES. And that business tip is provided free of charge. You're welcome. Update: The way you send a contract without any mention of scope of service may be the way you do business and that's your choice, but as someone who had questions about clarity, I was mistreated. A menu styled pricing list is not only confusing but absolutely useless to a person who has no idea what to expect. A little courtesy and patience isn't required of you but it sure would've been nice. After an explanation, I would've signed because like I told the guy, I firmly believe in paying people what they ask for. I never complain about service rates, but I do need to know I am not writing a blank check. I didn't ask for much not even a quote or a price but for some reason he kept telling me he couldn't give me one. He even got angry that I asked where were you located. I understand a whole lot about operating a service-based business but this just wasn't the way to conduct business. You can gaslight me or take the feedback and do better. It's up to you, take care.
