We had a very serious mold problem that made our family very sick. It's very important you can trust the people you work with to remediate your house especially when dealing with species like black mold + chaetomium. We paid a large sum for small particle cleaning, but through suspicion and in house camera footage we revealed that Armor mold lied to us about doing the small particle cleaning. Also, they left us with black mold and chaetomium in our air samples when we did a post remediation test. They said there was nothing more they could do and they abandoned the job, leaving us with toxic mold. We had to pay for a FULL second remediation from a different company (which didn't stop until our air samples were clean). This is very important information especially if you are unwell from mold. Beware. And always get a post remediation test.

Mike and the Armor Mold team have been amazing. We have had two separate remediation projects done over the past year and they have handled everything so effectively and professionally. First, we had a large remediation in our basement. After some water damage during previous home renovations, we had mold growing all over. The Armor Mold team came highly recommended by my assessment team-- and I can see why. They were very thorough in their inspections and gave us more than one proposal for moving forward. Everything was managed with care and plenty of communication. The basement is now as good as new (which says a lot for a very old home). Next, they came back to assist with our living room ceiling. There was a leak from an upstairs bathroom and clearly some mold was growing through. The team came in quickly to open things up, clean it out, and help us find the root cause of the problem (which is now fixed). The final invoice came in at a fair price for what was required-- which says so much about Armor's integrity and care for their customers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ARMOR MOLD REMEDIATION. We hired Armor to remediate a widespread but nontoxic mold problem in the attic of our new house. The attic is cramped and large, so the job was neither easy nor cheap. Their estimate was very competitive with others, and Michael and Jessica's responsiveness and Armor's strong online reviews convinced us they were the best choice. The crew did a very thorough job cleaning out the old, grotty fiberglass insulation, removing the mold, and applying moldproof paint—the inspector noted that they'd really made sure to cover everything with the paint. Can't say enough positive things about Armor Mold Remediation. They were prompt from the first call, were able to set up a consultation right away (the need for the work was a last minute discovery before a big trip we had planned) and gave me very fair estimate. In talking through the options, Michael discussed ways to save money or reduce the work - I felt like he was very honest and I trusted his final recommendation. The price was very reasonable. When it came time to do the work, wet wood meant that a second day was needed. I'm sure others would have just worked over the wet wood, but Michael set up a fan and came back the next day, Saturday, to do it right. He also helped me find the right dehumidifier for our space, and I feel he saved us money there too. I'm so happy to have worked with Armor on our mold issue!

I was very happy with their service but wanted to wait until we got through the spring to see how the basement handled the rainy season to write a review. Their quote came in right in the range we were expecting based on the mold assessment we were provided by our inspector. Other quotes we received from competitors ranged from a littler higher to so high that I felt we were being taken advantage of. Michael was very helpful and clear, answering all of our questions and working with us through the process. Basement has stayed mold free throughout the rainy spring and into the humid months of summer. The work was done cleanly, with no leftover mess, on schedule and as expected. The great folks at Armor Mold Remediation did an excellent job addressing a sudden mold situation in our garage— most likely due to a number of factors including an extremely hot wet summer combined with duct work in our garage carrying cold air across unconditioned space. A mold assessment provider outlined clear recommendations on remediation along with guidance on mitigating the source that created the problem in the first place. Michael, from Armor, came by to review assessment and provide an estimate highlighting where removal (of sheetrock) would be most beneficial vs cleaning. This made for both a cost-effective and remediation-effective plan. No one wants to learn that they have mold. You want it removed the right way and you want to address the source (so it doesn't come back). I had a great experience working with Armor Mold Remediation and highly recommend their services.
