In an unfortunate circumstance just prior to the November holiday rush, we had a water issue on the 1st floor of our condo. From start to finish, Justin was on the scene guiding us along the way; through planning stages, picking out quality materials, execution, and completion. We had expected a quality job, and not only did we get that, the job came out better than we could ever imagine and it was completely finished just in time for the holidays! We got Beautiful cabinetry, quartz countertops, backsplash, extended island, under mounted sink, lighting, and our LVP floors back to new! He was able to work with our insurance adjuster seamlessly and keep us in budget all while getting dream kitchen results! His Jacksonville workers were amazing from their craftsmanship to their professional demeanor! We could not be any happier or pleased with Justin at Emerge Builders!

Justin and his crew will always be my go to for any construction needs. The guys are extremely detail oriented and when they leave for the day, other than the work done you wouldn't know they had been there. That may sound silly but I appreciate that they leave nothing behind at the end of the workday. No footprints in sheetrock dust, no sawdust, no spots of paint. Justin stays in contact with me and is there to answer any questions I may have. I cannot gush enough over Emerge Builds. He is my own personal Mike Holmes.

[I edited this review on 9/11/23 and added photos of work deemed"finished" by Justin. I texted Justin on 6/26/23 and he could not imagine why I was dissatisfied. The pictures show that the vinyl siding bubbles in the heat of the day. Justin, where is the hardware to the pocket door in the laundry room? Speaking of which, this is the shelf that was left in the laundry room and never installed. Also, we have other pocket doors that were brand new and now have scratches because they were installed without tracks. Emerge's "fix" was to spackle or paint in a lame effort to repair. I can't get a photo to clearly show that. Finally, Justin what's missing in the picture taken of the door to the mechanical room? By the way, thank again for your guys stepping on the ductwork in there so that I had to pay hundreds of dollars to have replaced. I think you offered to come back yet again. However, please dont bother. I'll fix what I can. It will probably be cheaper, as I found out with the ductwork. There were some nice touches in the remodel but we say never again. Clearly, our overall experience was poor. ] In fairness, there were a lot of organizational shifts during our project. However, our overall experience was poor. We had to monitor our whole-home renovation from across the country. Essentially, there was poor oversight and cutting corners. For instance, we hired our own tile guy to do the kitchen backsplash. He sent me a bunch of pictures of totally inept workmanship in the house where the baseboards were done with pieces cut short and pieces wedged in. The molding was split by nails. I still have those pictures. This was eventually repaired, but Emerge had hired a substandard subcontractor and did not catch this until I sent them the pictures. Also, the floors were not level. We understand that floors in an old house won't be perfect, but there is a huge dip in the floor in the living room. Apparently, no effort was made to use leveling compound or anything before laying down the vinyl plank. I was fed up during one visit near the end of the project, and I requested a rod with supports and a shelf in the master closet. What I now have is a cheap rod and two cheap supports with no wood bracing to protect the drywall and add strength. All the closet rods are of poor quality. I did one in my prior house and I'll put my install up against the poor quality of Emerge's six days a week and twice on Sunday! Of course, theirs is sagging and I will have to brace it. The shelf was not even screwed in. Emerge did come to put in a mositure barrier in the mechanical closet as I requested following their "finished" construction. Unfortunately, being far away, I was unable to be at the site. I am here in the "finished" product and had an HVAC company in that closet recently to see about a whole-house dehumidifier. The estimator informed me that the ductwork was crushed. This damage had to be from Emerge's employee stepping on the ductwork during the moisture barrier install. Also, the same HVAC company employee wanted to know what "idiot" used drywall rather than wood to construct benches designed to contain and conceal the ductwork upstairs. Additionally, they tried to drywall the edges of the windows in the house rather than using wooden molding. They did fix that after I objected to the quality. Finally, there was apparently no effort to level the kitchen granite countertops. On the run from one side of the stove to the other side, there is a very visable difference in the level. I could go on and on. I'll stop here but note that what was estimated to be a three-month or so total renovation turned into over two years. Granted, there was COVID during this time, but every time I came to the house there were only two guys doing work. The attention to detail was lacking. Unfortunately, I can't recommend a company that cut corners, lacked attention to detail, and is costing me even more money. If you have a whole-house renovation, I would look elsewhere.

We hired Emerge Construction to repair our garage and we couldn’t be happier. We had a 1 car garage with attached lean-to that had extensive water/bug damage and ended with a spacious, well constructed 2 car garage. From our first meeting with Justin to the wrap up of our project he was always very respectful of the initial budget we gave him. He listened to our wants/needs and created a plan that was well within our price point. During construction we experienced a leak in our master shower and Justin stepped in to give us advice on repairing it. Again our budget was the top priority and he recommended what we should pay to have done professionally and what we could do ourselves to save as much as possible. The initial timeline for project completion was spot on. Even with the addition of the work within our house, everything was completed within days of the initial estimate. I would definitely recommend Emerge to anyone who asked and will be using them for any future projects or repairs!

Very pleased with this company! We had them install a new subway tile backsplash in our home and couldn’t be more happy with how beautiful it turned out. The process went so smoothly and Justin the owner was a pleasure to work with. We were so happy in fact that we’ve decided to have them finish out some attic space for a new game room. Highly recommend!
