We recently had work completed by Tarheels Basement systems . They installed floor supports and an I beam under our home that we purchased and discovered did not have proper supports on a load bearing area of our home. Justin H , Demarte, and Quentin were punctual, professional, and polite . They were attentive to detail and preserving our property. Justin communicated their eta and they arrived right on time . He greeted me with a smile and walked me through the install information clearly . They took care to prevent any damage during the lift process. His crew worked cohesively and quickly and were very informative. He made some solid recommendations to help prevent additional issues in the future .We would definitely work with this company in the future if needed .

I had foundation issues that were found when the crawlspace was inspected by Brandon. My crew was Austin G, Austin L, Wolf, Joe L and Chris O. They were professional and pleasant. Each one of them knew what they were doing and got right to the job. Communication was great. The weak joist had caused the floor to sag and I could fit my big toe in the gap! The new joists had to be sandwiched to stabilize them. As the new joists were placed, the gap closed up, you can't tell that there was ever a gap. The flooring had to be removed and there was wood rot. They then cut and replaced the sub floor. I also had 3 open areas in the foundation that was repaired with treated wood and a door placed that can be taken down when needed. I would recommend Tar Heel to anyone that has issues with their home.

While their bid looked higher at first, it turned out to be the most honest and complete. The other companies started low but tried to upsell, which would’ve ended up costing more than Tar Heel’s all-inclusive quote. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and thorough. Our foreman John made sure everything was done right and to our satisfaction, and Kolin and Sam were two of the hardest-working men I’ve seen in a long time. Even after the work was done, the follow-up was great—Ian was courteous, professional, and made sure we were happy with the results. John, Sam, and Collin were the best contractors to come out from Tarheel Basement. I am a disabled Army Veteran and had severe issues with my subfloor and foundation structures of my home. These guys came out numerous days to complete work for this large scale project. It was a meticulous job but these guys never complained one bit. They were professional, courteous, and very respectful of my yard and home as well. These guys are experts in their profession and model employees of the company.
