Had this joke of a company in my house for a total of 7 days on 2 separate occasions to repair water damage. The result looks way worse than the damaged floor looked. Heard every excuse under the sun from them. They couldn't even match the gloss level correctly. They did garbage work that wouldn't be acceptable in a 3rd world county, and their workers left our house unlocked when they left. There are a million flooring companies. Trust me go elsewhere, or just save yourself some time and light your money on fire.

We thought we had found a company that would help us. Unfortunately dropped us after working with them for two months. No explanation. We requested detailed contract of what we were actually getting done. We would sign and give deposit based on that. We decided not to have some rooms and tile done. Because of how much more time it would take to finish and get our kitchen back. Guess they weren’t making enough money off of us and dropped us. We were told so many stories and that they couldn’t get our size cabinets from Home Depot and what they could order would take 4 to 6 weeks. Funny how the minute they did this to us. I called and offered everything and will be delivered in two weeks. It all smoke and mirrors folks. If it sounds to good to be true what they say they will do well we found out the hard way. They demoed our kitchen left a big mess broke things that didn’t need to be and damaged my countertop that we have to now find someone to fix. If a company gets upset that your asking to many questions and want things in black and white before you sign and hand over money. Please please walk away. We never expected what happened to us to happen. So so disappointed in this company. Photo is how they left us with no explanation.

We are so happy with the service we received from Caremaster. Our office carpets had not been cleaned in many years. They were in terrible shape. We called Caremaster and Rose was very helpful in scheduling the work and making a recommendation and referral for carpet stretching and repair. The work was scheduled quickly. Deshion was right on time and cleaned our whole office in 4.5 hrs. He did an exceptional job and we are so happy with the work that was done. When I received the invoice, I was happily surprised that it was so reasonable and I paid the invoice immediately. We very highly recommend Caremaster.

Beware!! Caremaster does not follow their own steps on their own website. Caremaster only saw insurance claim when they came into my home. Everyone involved knew I had metastasized lung cancer and though the job ended up being small, they treated it like it was very unimportant. I never in all my years of homeownership dealt with mold mitigation. Once they filed a claim with my insurance it took almost three weeks to get anything done. The communication was a mess. I had no idea this company was only interested in big insurance claim jobs. When they first came in they assured me they would remove everything from the area, use a hepa air scrubber and do a walk through when finished. None of that happened. I had to get my own plumber, tiler (because Caremaster couldn’t justify the overhead to finish the job) and they said they only use an air scrubber when removing materials. One, the contract said they would use it for complete job and two, their website states they do so. I was charged a whole day of air scrubber for 2.5 hrs. The reason? Just like when you rent something you pay the whole day. They own the air scrubber! Because our area got very unseasonably cold weather , plumbers were all hands on deck. Yesterday 12-19-25 the toilet was finally put back. Caremaster came in on 11-10-25. And I still need the bathroom and bedroom still wiped down with a special solution. Everything was shoved into the tub so needs to be thrown out. I have never felt so helpless and upset. I am a widow and relied on word of mouth but was blind sided by a big company, throw the whole “family owned” warm fuzzy angle out. So beware! They only care about big whole house jobs.

When we experienced water damage in our home, we initially called Servpro of Kinston for mitigation and repairs. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a huge mistake. As you can see in the photos (Left Caremaster’s completed work, Right-Servpro’s Disaster), their work was an absolute disaster. What you can’t see in the pictures is that they also performed illegal electrical work that could have caused a fire—putting our family at serious risk. In a time of desperation, we turned to Caremasters, and we are so grateful that we did. From the very beginning, their team communicated with us clearly and professionally, ensuring we were informed every step of the way. They worked diligently to correct every issue and went above and beyond to restore our home properly. The attention to detail and quality of work they provided was outstanding. Let’s see where shall I begin? Everyone in and around Onslow County avoid this company and their representative Pam at all costs!! Our experience began with this community after we had damage to the inside of our home due to a tropical storm. Pam was sent over to our home by our insurance agent to have the roof area covered to prevent further damage. When Pam arrives she begins to go into how her compass going to fix the damage. I thought to myself no one hired you yet. Then we went through the insurance process which I don’t blame on the company. Insurance is a pain as it is. Once the insurance company came through and did their estimate I called Pam and hired Caremaster to do repairs. Pam looked at the estimate given by my insurance and said “this is not enough money!” “We need to get more money.” Sorry Pam but I’m not committing insurance fraud for “you to get more money” Pam then said we needed to do mitigation. Which meant our walls had to be torn out and a ceiling portion had to be torn out. She assured me that “she never lost getting the money from insurance for the mitigation.” Guess what Pam you did this time and charged us over $1600 when we fired care master. After the mitigation was done and their “project manager” Alex came out who by the way had no clue what he was doing nor how to answer any of our questions except for what was not included. We were told that work would begin shortly. To both my and my husbands surprise when we told Alex that the work we wanted was only the section they destroyed and no more as the insurance wasn’t gonna pay for it all of a sudden it was as Pam said (yes I have the phone call recorded) “too small of a job for them and she would recommend a sub contractor.” Wow!! I had a huge hole in my ceiling and wall made by this company and now they refuse to fix it. Talk about the worst customer service ever! So of course we weren’t going to take advice nor a recommendation from Pam as she had lied to us on prior occasions so we hired our own contractor and had no problem getting what Caremaster destroyed repaired. Please do your research on this company look at yelp, google, and others and you will see that this company has done this on prior occasions as well. I definitely do not and will never recommend this company to anyone. Thanks Caremaster for taking advantage of a fully disabled veteran and for trying to defraud our insurance company.
