I had a kitchen ceiling leak and a dishwasher leak. I contacted this company and could not believe how fast they were at my house. They located the origin of the problem and immediately began mitigation procedures. Josh, Joe, Chris, Eduardo, just to name a few were quickly setting up fans, taking humidity readings and Josh was walking me through the entire process. He is very nice, patient and understanding of my never ending questions. I’m still dealing with this issue, but American Water Damage has completed their part and I highly recommend them.

We had a water backup, they came out and ripped out both working and only bathrooms at my 80+ yr old parents home. The process removed my parents from the home. Coming from someone that has been in the construction business for 30 plus yrs it seemed to be a bit of overkill. The bill was large. They then came out to do a bid for reconstruction and we set tentative dates to start work, this was to help get my parents back in the house. They were not the best with communication and getting scheduled. We also gave them $1000 deductible for the reconstruction. This was after 14k in tear out and drying out. We were told that after the bid we could use them for all,some, or none of the work. We chose to go another route due to the lack of communication. And time it took for responses. I personally reached out to Corey about returning the deductible for the work that we would need done. He said my boss wouldn’t return it all but wasn’t heartless and would probably give back half. Corey was a good guy but I told him to let his boss know to reach out to me about the deductible. I feel like I should not have had to continue to chase this company down. Corey had my contact info and I have yet to hear from anyone. They had no problem having my 80 yr old mother endorse their check. I was out of town at the time of this issue so I couldn’t navigate this as it occurred. My wife is a property manager for a large reality company in Kansas City. She uses multiple companies for this work and moving forward I recommend using Servpro or another company. This due to not doing what you say you are going to, we are supposed to take care of and help the elderly. Corey has my number. You have questions American Water Damage, reach out to me. Update the work was completed by another company. I’m still waiting on my call about the deductible return.

This is our second time using American Water Damage in unfortunately the last four months. Josh and his team were efficient and did great work drying out our spaces that flooded after a burst pipe. It’s never a situation you want to be in, but if you are, this is the company to call. Excellent communication, dependable daily checks, and everyone was very friendly and kind. I felt confident that our home was in good hands and would be okay once they were done!

Daniel R. and Mark saved the day for two days straight. They were so detailed, they helped me with the water mitigation and also helped me find a trusted plumber. They also helped avoid needing to remove drywall and tile when it wasn't needed. They worked hand in hand with my insurance and the plumber. Called these guys after my plumber saw some evidence of a leak. Daniel came out and inspected and did an investigation and determined the leak was historical and no longer occurring. I appreciate that he gave me an honest assessment and didn’t try to sell me services I did not need.

Our newly remodeled basement flooded at 6pm. We called our usual plumbers who showed up and quickly realized they were not able to assist us. Not only did they refer us to Hamilton and American Water Damage but assisted with explaining the issue. American Water Damage showed up with in 20 ish minutes or less and completely got the flood location identified and resolved. The showed up every day after to check and monitor the water damage. The removed the contaminated items, including flooring, drywall, and the base of the sink etc. They were beyond polite and respectful. They helped us speak with our insurance company. Everything is going smoothly, now just waiting for reconstruction to take place. If you have an emergency, American Water Damage is the way to go. They are quick, friendly, and amazing at their jobs.

I can't say enough good things about John and his entire team at American Water Damage! Our basement had a severe sewage backup from the sink, which ruined almost everything. The original clean-up team, including John and a couple of other gentlemen (maybe Corey?), arrived within 20 minutes of the plumber's call and immediately got to work. This was a lengthy process (a little over a week), but they were there every day from around 9 AM until 4 or 5 PM, ensuring the job was done right. Some team members handled breaking down and removing ruined furniture. Tabatha and Daniel, in particular, were incredible! They managed all the grunt work, from tearing out tile to moving large pieces around the room as they worked on other areas. This meant I didn't have to find homes for everything in my already overflowing house, allowing me to concentrate on working from home. They also talked me through the process and fully cleaned up after everything was complete. They went above and beyond, offering advice and support throughout. I couldn't have asked for a better team and better service in such a difficult situation. My family and I are incredibly thankful for their dedication and professionalism!
