Mr Rooter is consistently the best plumbing service I have had the pleasure of working with. My technician today, John Dubose-MP was an absolute delight to work with. Showing a masterful, complete knowledge of all issues regarding plumbing, he professionally replaced my water main valve and pressure reduction valve. The end result can only be described as a technical work of art. Highly recommended!

My service guy, Arthur, was super customer-friendly and did a fast and fantastic job fixing my leaking pipe. He took time to explain in layman's terms how the pipe system works, from the part that reduces the pressure of the water coming to the house, to the water that flows through the water heater and from there throughout the house. It was eye-opening to see the big picture. He also told me about things I can do to further protect my pipes during winter. Would recommend company to a friend.

We had water leaking from our hot water recirculating pump. Roto Rooter came out and said we also needed to replace our expansion tank and pressure reducing valve because the technician said our water pressure was 100 psi. I made him recheck the pressure while I was watching and it was 70 psi so I was clearly being lied to. I’m not sure the expansion tank needed replacing but he did replace it and I was charged over $800 for it! We paid another comapny $200 (parts and labor) to have it replaced 4 years ago. In total, we paid $1200 in labor costs for 2 hours of work. This company is dishonest and extremely overpriced. DO NOT USE!!!

For this review, I give Mr. Rooter (specifically Joe Ventimiglia and his team – Mitch and John) 5 stars for the QUALITY OF WORK that they did for us. It was excellent/outstanding. Note: Unfortunately, at the same time I would give only 2 stars for the quality of communication and for the scheduling process for our project. The scheduling was not consistent and often left us wondering if/when they would show up. And it did not measure up to match the quality of workmanship which was excellent. During his visit for the estimate, Joe was prompt, respectful, knowledgeable, asked questions, engaged with us and the design materials (drawings and descriptions) that we had prepared, was willing to enter the crawl space to assess the plumbing situation (a disaster left over from a previous plumber who could not finish the work) and listened to us. He let us know that he would work on getting us a written estimate as soon as possible. Within a day or so, Joe was able to send us an estimate. That was amazing in and of itself (most plumbers take 3-5 days to generate an estimate and some never follow up at all). After reviewing the estimate, we decided to go with Joe and his team (Mr. Rooter). Within the same week, Joe and his team (Mitch and John) removed all of the faulty, partially installed mess of plumbing work that the previous plumber had “installed” for us. Joe and his team also brought all of the supplies to stage them for the next week’s work. Before I share more of the job, let me just say that Joe and his team (Mitch and John) were professional, respectful and documented their work. Mitch was extremely personable, very respectful and conducted himself with dignity and excellence on the job. John was polite and answered questions when asked. Both Mitch and John added to the already high level of skillful excellence that Joe brought to the job. The following week, Joe and his team worked on replacing all of the drains and supply lines under our home (in our crawl space) as well as roughing in all of the connections, drains and dry vents in our bathroom space (going from 1.5 baths to 2 baths in a complete gut with dry vents that had to be reconnected and tied into the whole system). Their work set the stage for the construction team that was doing our remodel. Seeing Joe's (and Mitch and John) finished work has been amazing. The work is clean, precise, completed according to code, and has corrected all of the errors and sloppiness of the previous plumber’s work. Joe/Mitch/John's work is also going to allow us to prevent leaks in the future. At the start of this project, I said I wanted “pretty pipes” (meaning clean, well done, leak-proof, neat, organized, code-worthy, and otherwise excellently installed) and that is what we now have. The only area that was not as excellent was the poor communication around scheduling. Often, we were told that Joe, or Joe and his team, would be at our house on a certain day or at a certain time and we often did not hear from anyone until late in the day/the end of the day when Joe would let us know that the schedule had shifted or that he would need to reschedule for the next day or the following day. Of course, we can understand and give grace when that happens once but when it becomes a pattern, it feels disrespectful. It happened several times and we tried to just be flexible. However, after the 3rd time, we ended up speaking to a supervisor about the situation. Thankfully, Mr. Rooter’s supervisor was helpful and swift in resolving our concerns and the job was completed with the same skill and excellence that Joe and his team demonstrated throughout the job. Overall, we are very glad that we worked with Joe, Mitch and John and we are grateful for their excellent skill and the high quality of their finished work. We are so thankful for the completed bathroom plumbing for our 2-bathroom remodel project.

Mr. Rooter assimilated the septic company I had been using. They were told about our sprinkler system and location and instead of using a shovel, used the excavator and cut the line and electrical system. « Not responsible » per contract. This will add another $2K to an already exorbitant bill. Find another company… on a positive note, the contractor who emptied the tank was wonderful. This was a nightmare from start to finish.

07/24/2025.... When You need a HONEST Plumbing Company give them a call.. I got 3 estimates, one was from Roto Rooter the Technician came out quoted Me $1500 to replace a Pressure reduction valve for my hot water heater, also claimed he needed 2 people because he had to weld off the parts to replace them 😳😫 I saw the Mr. Rooter Ad on FB and decided to give them a call 🥴 The call center waived the fee, there is a fee if they come out waived if you use the service... It took one Man less than 20 minutes to fix & replace.. ☺️😊 Y'all know I don't give untrue reviews... Call Mr. Rooter if you need repairs Honestly!

David was amazing! He came on time and he explained all of my problems and he even worked when it was really cold outside with a smile on his face. I will always go back to this company because of David. The photo shows what the problem was before the repair.

What's late for every appointment they made. Worked with them for about a week before they finally made it here Said they were not able to get the clog, because he only brought a machine that would reach 25 feet when he did finally show up. Ended up renting a machine and doing it myself took less than an hour.
