Flood Medics was hired by the sellers of a property I purchased after high levels of mold were identified during inspection. Their scope was represented as crawlspace cleaning and interior fogging as part of remediation. After their work was completed, I had two independent inspectors return to the property. Both confirmed there was no visible evidence of crawlspace cleaning and no indication that meaningful interior remediation had occurred. Ultimately, the situation was severe enough that the entire HVAC system had to be removed and replaced due to extensive mold buildup on the ductwork. Given the extent of the mold present, the use of an interior fogger alone was wholly inadequate—effectively the equivalent of spraying Febreze in a garbage can rather than addressing the underlying problem. I want to be fair—perhaps I misunderstood what their definition of “cleaning” entailed. However, after multiple attempts to request clarification, documentation, and before-and-after photos, I was unable to get clear answers or proof of what remediation was actually performed. As a result, I've had to pay over $18,000 out of pocket to properly remediate the issue with another provider. Cliff, the owner, was the primary person I spoke with prior to the work being scheduled, which made this outcome especially disappointing. I’m sharing this review so others can ask very specific questions upfront, request documentation, and clearly understand what remediation methods actually include before proceeding.
