I have had a very good experience with William Cheng as my representative from The Public Adjusters for the damage to my home from Hurricane Michael. My insurance company was doing what so many of them do…..requiring so much information that was difficult or impossible to come up with, that their clients just eventually give up. William was very persistent in continuing to try to get a fair settlement for a number of things that they were difficult about being responsible for. I have no doubt that I was eventually, 3 years after the hurricane, able to get paid for some things that certainly should have been covered according to my policy. William is a very conscientious and polite young man who tries to do his best for his clients, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a public adjuster.

August 2008- Hurricane Ike hit our town. There was destruction everywhere. I can not describe how helpless we felt, but I'm sure that almost everybody will understand how we felt after incurring damages to our homes, and for some people, losing all their possessions. Thank God my house wasn't completely destroyed, but it did sustain a lot of damage. I filed a claim with my insurance company, who sent an adjuster right away, who didn't even climbed the roof to inspect it. He just walked around the house and gave me his final determination: The damages suffered were below my insurance deductible, therefore, they weren't going to covered the repairs. I cried and cried without hope thinking how I was going to fix my house. I applied to FEMA, who denied my claim, because I had homeowners insurance. I felt desperate, didn't know what to do. Until a friend suggested to Google a public adjuster to negotiate with my insurance company. I did it, and I never have regretted having done so. They sent Mark Cram (if I remember his name correctly) who took his time to really inspect my house. He climbed on top of the roof, he went inside the entire attic, he inspected every single wall of my house for damage. He found out that my insurance company had underestimated the damages and proceeded to contact them and negotiate. To make a long story short, my insurance company re-evaluated their findings, in the presence of Mark, and accepted the liability. Needless to say, they replaced my roof and paid for other repairs needed in the house. I was elated. The people at claim consultants were so professional and nice. I felt like they were part of my family. They treated me with so much respect. One thing that I admire about them is their consistency. Since 2008, I haven't gone a year without a Christmas card in the mail. It makes me feel secure, and that I can always count on them. I appreciate all the work you do, Insurance Claims Consultants!

Hurricane Ike hit Houston Texas and more specifically to my story, my house. Well to make a long story short our insurance company sent one of their adjusters out to my house and later that evening he sent me an email that my claim would be denied due to the fact that my damage was caused by wind driven rain. Not the hurricane. I had water damage inside the house and most of the shingles were damaged and a small piece of siding was missing. I will not name the insurance co. but I will say that I didn't feel like I was in very good hands. I had been sending them money for full coverage auto insurance since the mid 1970s and home owners since the mid 1990s and never a claim on either. My policy covered hurricanes which is wind driven rain! I contacted Insurance Claim Consultants, and Mark Cram came and did an inspection and found considerable damage to my roof and water damage in 2 or 3 rooms and new water marks on the framing in the attic. Mark and I had 2 or 3 more inspections with the insurance co. inspection teams and although at one point I thought the final meeting with them was going turn into a tag team match on my front lawn with Mark and I as the good guys and the insurance guys as the evil competitors who would stoop to any levels to have things there way with us. Well, they weren't budging on their stance that all of the damaged shingles, water damage to ceilings, walls and wooden floor in rooms and structure were not covered. I finally told them ( the Ins. guys) to get off my property. At this point Mark suggested that I get legal counsel and I did. The Public Adjusters released me from the contract I had with them because it was obvious that the insurance co. was going to need more convincing. I feel that Mark and the Public Adjusters did all that was possible to do without legal action. I did take legal action and eventually the evil doers came around to my way of thinking.

I had built a day care business right from the scratch and had bought a business insurance to cover the business. After operating the business for almost 4 years an SUV accidentally run into our newly renovated building destroying part of the building and most of our equipment. My business was interrupted and we had to close down for almost a year. However, during the insurance claim, the adjuster from my insurance company was not dealing with me in a fair manner. Their attitude and the amount that they wanted to settle the claim for was far below what can adequately cover the loss. I was so frustrated and my creditors were harassing me constantly as the insurance company acted with indifference and prolonged delays in settling the claim. I own a rental property in Panama City that sustained catastrophic damages from Hurricane Michael and was rendered uninhabitable by the city inspectors. We contacted The Public Adjusters after months of trying to correspond with our insurance company after Hurricane Ike. Our insurance kept saying what is the damage and how much will it cost? Contractors were extremely scarce at that time and to get one to come out and give an estimate was impossible. After meeting with Mark Cram we decided to hire them to help us estimate the damages. They thoroughly inspected our business location and gave us an estimate that was then given to our insurance company. The insurance company then took notice. I believe we initially contacted them in early 2009 and they stuck with us until the insurance company finally settled in 2011. Greatly disappointed by the way my claim was handled by the insurance company after an explosion nearby racked my home. I knew I had to seek help elsewhere but didn’t know where to look. I decided to investigate my options, called a number and got Mr. Ronald Delo President of The Public Adjusters Inc. on the phone on a first ring. He said that in my area the Public Adjuster was James Howard. I thought “oh no, another person to talk to and explain things.” But Mr. Howard was even more attentive than the first to get things Resolved! From there the PA James Howard handled the process onward, even his family members helped in this process, and freed me from some of the hassle. Though it was lengthy process, the end was fantastic, the PA got a fair claim for me securing four times more than the original claim amount, to get my house fixed right. When we first contacted the Public Adjusters, we were at a loss of what to do. Our house had just burned down and our insurance companies adjuster had just said "you aren't getting another penny from us" after paying 28% of what we were insured for.
