I have been working with this company since June 2025. They have a large operation and a nice facility, and they have built over 5,000 homes. However, I have some concerns about my experience. While they handle many aspects of the process, I regret not coordinating more closely with my insurance and wish I had stayed with the first contractor we hired. It's important to take notes and document everything, as I have experienced some confusion along the way. I plan to update this review once our home is completed, hopefully by the end of the year. I encourage potential customers to consider all reviews, both positive and negative, as I have come to understand some of the warnings are valid. If you need cleaning services after a fire, this company might be suitable for that. However, for home construction, I recommend exploring smaller firms or working directly with your insurance company for a smoother experience.

He never makes me feel like I am bothering him with all my questions and believe me I always have. lots of them. His crew is awesome, and the work being done to date is beautiful. Rays attention to detail and strong work ethics are remarkable and inspiring. He consistently goes above and beyond his role and it has not gone unnoticeable. Yall are the best! After being the victim of arson I had no clue what to do. Mike Shorb and everyone at OCC911 took great care of me. It was a long ordeal but we finally made it through it and I love how my condo turned out! Ray was a great site manager, he even showed up on a day he wasn’t working to fix something! The whole crew definitely took a lot of the stress off of my shoulders and I am so happy with the end result

Greg was my over the phone contact and very clear and conscience about the effect that this would have and the work that they would do to make us safe. My first person to person contact was with Devon and Shane, very respectful and concerned with my family's wellbeing and making sure that everything was professionally clean and up to standard and always on time. They spoke to me to alert me as to everything that was being done and an estimated time frame of completion. Then I met Lance who made sure that he let me know what they were doing and that his concern was to not inconvenience but to get the job done and that anyone that was coming into my home that I could meet with them and he would be there on every occasion and he was and most times he beat them to me, he knew that I had to go to work and he did not want me to jeopardize my job. Any questions that I had he answered and if he could not answer me, he would email or text me with the information at a later but timely time. The next person was Kristina who did the measurements, and she was very open to any concerns and very respectful. Now I am dealing with Debbie and she is the carpet/flooring person and she is very informative, and she wants to make sure that I am happy and that means a lot. So if you ask me if I would recommend OCC911 I would have to say ABSOLUTERLY!

3 starts because our home was completed and we're thankful for that. I'm the beginning we had the upmost confidence and it was backed by the conversations we were having with Mike and Isaias. Down the line Mike dropped away and our contact person was Isaias, which was still fine. The fire happened November 2024, we were told work would be complete May 2025. Then it moved to June, July and ultimately August. Sometime in April 2025 we were passed over to Luis. Now this is when the experience took a downward spiral. This guy was NOT a good communicator. He even went on vacation and we had no idea, he just wasn't answering calls for a few days and I had to reach out to Isaias to find out that Luis was on vacation. It got to the point that we were feeling bad for reaching out for updates. So we moved in on August 2025, mind you there is still work that need to be completed, but our funds were depleted so we had to move back home. Things really didn't get finished until end of September. At the end of the day we felt neglected and made to feel like we were a problem. I run 2 businesses and I'd NEVER want my customers to feel the way we did at the end of this ordeal. There's still things in the house that need to be done, but we're home and that's what really matters. There's a small hole in my dining room ceiling were the light fixture was. I waited to do this review to see if there would be a follow-up visit or even a call, there wasn't. We've been here for 3 months now. So yeah, 3 stars because my house was "finished" I would not recommend

It is hard to believe how one's life can change so drastically in only two hours. Last Christmas day my wife and I left our house to deliver some presents to friends. Our dogs went to their kennels as they always did. When we returned home, two hours later we opened the door to a house completely filled with smoke. We had an electrical fire which resulted in the loss of most of our personal belongings and our two beautiful dogs, leaving our beautiful "dream house" in shambles. I tell you all of this because I want it known that your company did so much more then providing property repair. My wife and I found ourselves lost and overwhelmed. I truly had no idea what to do. A couple of days after the fire I had found a flyer from your company on the door of the house. I subsequently met with Chris Barnett who not only outlined what your company could provide, he showed compassion, understanding and patience. This took such a weight off of us and gave us a direction when it had appeared that all was loss. Chris was outstanding guiding us along through every step. Then Chris did the greatest thing. He provided Ray Hernandez as the superintendent for our home's repair. Ray is truly amazing! He is knowledgeable, detail oriented and hands on. Ray's attitude is always positive, caring and friendly. I have not only seen him at the house many times, he often has a tool in his hand helping with the repairs. He truly leads by example with impeccable work ethic. It always makes me feel good after talking with Ray. He keeps me in the loop and always shows compassion and understanding. I am truly greatful for all of this. Even though the job has not been completed yet, I trust your Company and staff to make sure everything is right. I just wanted to get this review to you. You can be very proud of your company. Mostly you can be very proud of Chris and Ray. They both are amazing and you are very lucky that they are the face of your company. Thank You so very much! I will always highly recommend you to anyone I know. Joseph Temple 9/29/2025, Now that our house is done and more beautiful than before, we are finally home! THANK YOU so very very much!

Horrible experience with OCC. We we’re recommended to them by A Ray of textiles and it has been the biggest mistake to hire them. We had water damage in November and we are now in March and nothing has been done. They took a 50% deposit (28,000. Dollars) from the insurance claim and have done nothing. Please be very careful and don’t use this company. The pictures below speak for themselves.
