It was more than a repair and included injections to level one slab, and fill and reinforce areas below to prevent recurrence. Initial visit was thorough and got great explanation of scope of work and process. The day of the actual work — George and James — they were super professional, thorough and did an amazing job! Speaking in the aspect of reliable contractors being hard to find, this team truly stood out for their honesty, communication, and attention to detail. I worked with Justin from the very beginning, we were having leaks coming in from the floor and also discovered we were having foundation issues. We were advised we needed polyurethane injections done to remedy the issue. Justin knew how tight we were in regards to having to get this done ASAP and was able to get his A team out promptly, Cooper W. and Tyler S. were such a pleasure to work with. They arrived at the scheduled time, answered all my questions and went to work. Update: I was told by Bradley that the city signed off on the permit for the Intellijacks on 12-23-25 and I told him that no one came to the house to inspect them, so I do not understand how they signed off that the job was completed and that the work was sound. So, I called the City of Avon Park planning and was told that the City of Sebring did the inspection, so I called their planning department and was transferred to Inspector Ryan, since he claimed that he inspected the work. When I first spoke to him, he said that he did complete the work on the 23rd and I told him that was impossible, because he didn’t come in my house that day or any day and he said that he received photos and the engineer plans and that was how he inspected the work. Inspector Ryan told me that it comes down to engineering if there is a problem anyway so that is how they sign off on all permitted work, they do not inspect the work just photos and plans. Joscar and Sam with Alpha Foundations came out and tried to fix my Intelljacks and try and fix the bumps in my floor, they said that since I was told that these jacks would stabilize my house by the salesman and the two that installed the jacks originally. Joscar and Sam told me, that there is not enough of them or in the right locations to accomplish that and when I told them that the two guys that installed the jacks removed the boards that was part of my previous foundation, and I showed Joscar what was removed by the installers. Joscar said that they should not have removed them and that I still needed my original foundation, because I had approximately half of the jacks I need, I told him that was not what I was told or I would not have gotten them, because $15,000 for partial improvement. Joscar and Sam told me that the reason I’m having these bumps in the floor is because my beams aren’t tied together the way Joscar explained it to me is they are supposed to be screwed together with blocks of wood so that when the jack lifts on one they all lift, however since some places didn’t have those blocks when one beam is lifted the other one is free and that is what is causing the bumps and the hills and valleys I now have. I said if you guys realized this in the first few minutes that you were down there then why did not the salesman and the previous installers notice this and stop the installation until it could be fixed, since this quite possibly could be causing damage to my floor and foundation. On 2-2-26 Bradley said that in order to fix my foundation it will cost an additional $9,600 but he said he could reduce it to $6,000 but he would talk to his supervisor to see what he could do. On 2-3-26 Bradley called me and said that his supervisor wants to help me out because he knows they messed up and said the best he could do is to take 50% off the $9,600 to reduce it to $4,800. I said so the first installation that I paid $15,000 for that destabilized my house more than it was before I paid all of that money now, I have to pay an additional $4,800. I said this feels like a bait and switch I was promised one thing and when that made things worse, I have to pay more to accomplish what was promised. Bradley then offered to shimmy my foundation as a free alternative which may help in the short term but may cause more problems and damage in future. When I was told that they were a daughter company to GroundWorks and they have been operating for 22 years that I was going to have quality work done and my house was in good hands, but they made it worse and want more money to fix it or offer a free temporary fix. After hearing the options that Alpha Foundations as offered to rectify my situation it appears I am going to have to get an independent evaluation of my situation and ascertain if or what options I have available to fix my house. I recently used Alpha Foundations to encapsulate my crawl space. Cooper came out to the house and did an thorough inspection. Spent at least two hours in the home and crawl space taking pictures, making drawings and explaining the entire process. Gave me a price on the spot and although I might have been able to find someone else to do it for less you just can’t put a price on the peace of mind I received by hiring Alpha. They were diligent, prompt, came when they said they were going to come, clean, efficient and honest. In Miami that’s really tough to come by. My home is over 100 years old, have had issues with subterranean termites, house always smelled of mildew and my AC was not working efficiently. They sent out Chris Gomez, Dwayne and Emmanuel to encapsulate, install a humidifier and sub pump. Immediately felt the difference with the AC efficiency with the encapsulation, I’m hoping the dehumidify and encapsulation will get rid of the musty smell (already see a difference ). Chris was amazing at problem solving when we ran into a couple of issues, took his time explaining things, worked effectively and communicated really well. Highly recommend!
