They arrived within the hour of my call. I received a reasonable price I didn't have to discuss payment options because once they got my insurance they took care of the rest. The technicians were very nice and compassionate. I would recommend them to anybody that has an emergency situation.

Tyson offered to come the night my pipe burst, but the plumber was here so we asked him to come the next day. He evaluated the drywall for water damage and found none, so we didn't need to go further. He was extremely nice and helpful!

I’m not the type to publish many reviews on Google, but I must express my extreme disappointment with Restoration Doctor due to their practice of inflating their prices when a customer has opted to use insurance to help cover the cost of water damage mitigation work. I know they do this because one of their technicians told me so, as a matter of fact. At the time, water was still pouring from an upstairs bathroom into our townhouse kitchen. “Of course,” I thought, “I want my insurance company (Travelers) to cover this — this is what I have paid for all these years” (not really thinking much about what the technician told me). I called Travelers and was told we had a $1,500 deductible. Easy, right? Hardly. It turns out, (long story short) that Travelers has had lots of trouble with Restoration Doctor inflating their prices, and now the insurance company is refusing to pay for the mitigation work beyond $3,000 and change. Let’s just say they are off by more than $25,000, which I am now being asked by Restoration Doctor to pay out of pocket. Now, I wasn’t born yesterday — I know the insurance company is lowballing us like crazy. (I have also, for the first time ever, filed a complaint about our experience with Travelers to the state of Virginia SCC). But I also know for a fact that Restoration Doctor severely inflated their prices when they learned we were going to file a claim with our insurance provider. And now they want us to set up a payment plan for $25,000+ — all while our townhome is still awaiting restoration (we are minus our master bathroom, one of my kids’ bedrooms and have holes all over the place awaiting new drywall). I cannot recommend Restoration Doctor due to their practice of overcharging insured customers and then footing them the bill when insurance companies (another headache) refuse to pay due to this dishonest practice. I wish I had never dialed their hotline — they have been far more of a headache than a help.

Tyson came out with his thermal camera and identified all areas of water intrusion. The damage wasn't super extensive so we just allowed our tile contractor to do the dry out but this company could not have been nicer or more helpful and didn't even charge us to come out with the infrared equipment

Called them with a relatively small job in DC and had difficulty getting a response from them. When asked for a proposal they refused to give one and indicated they were too busy to take the job. This is an acceptable response but I would have liked to know that much earlier in the process and communication was sketch at best.

Something doesn't smell right with an average of 5 stars for this company. Fake reviews juicing the score? I'm finding that plausible now. My experience was they were unprofessional. After sending a rep to meet with the insurance adjuster at the house, he said that he'd send someone that day to open up the walls and start the work. Then radio silence. After attempting to contact the rep for several days to find out why nobody showed or called me, they he eventually said they weren't going to take my job claiming that it was not really what they do.

Great company & great staff. Worked with Restoration Doctor to resolve a leak in my condo. They came out and were able to handle all the tasks with no problem. When dealing with insurance, they were able to provide all the documentation necessary. When it was time to conduct payment, they were understanding due to the banking regulations. Overall, it was a great experience to work with them and will be adding them to my trusted business list.

This place was amazing! We had a tree clip the house during a storm, we had damages repaired and thought we were good to go until a few months later when we started to see mold in the upper corner of our bathroom. They came and inspected the area and gave a spot on quote for the affected area. They were very friendly and gave excellent service! I would absolutely use this company time and time again.

5 Stars - Highly Recommend - Lifesavers After Our Airbnb Flood! Restoration Doctors are absolute heroes! Our basement Airbnb apartment suffered a total flood after both our primary and backup sump pumps failed. GD and his crew were on the scene incredibly fast. From the moment they arrived, the team was professional, thorough, and reassuring. They meticulously cleaned up the entire space and confidently explained their drying and restoration plan to us and our guests (who opted to STAY). What truly impressed us was their ability to work seamlessly around a pair of quite difficult guests, handling the situation with grace at every turn. Even though we were out of town, they left us feeling completely confident that our apartment would be perfectly restored. An outstanding service in a stressful situation – thank you, Restoration Doctors!
