As a first-time homebuyer, this was my first experience dealing with a foundation issue. Initially, I picked Groundworks for the free foundation inspection but contracted them because of the pricing and the people that did the inspection. I had the pleasure of working with Kristra and Derek for the initial inspection and they were wonderful. Kristra was my primary inspector, with Derek supporting as her manager, and together they made the entire process far less stressful than I expected. After the inspection, we discussed the underlying issues and then came up with a solution that fits my budget. Throughout the discussion, both Krista and Derek were friendly and knowledgeable, which gave me the confidence needed to trust their company to contract them. Before the day the foundation repair was scheduled, the Groundworks team coordinated with utility personnel to have the sewer and water lines properly marked so the foundation crew would not accidentally damage them. This was something I did not expect them to handle, but I was very glad they did. On the day of the foundation work, the team gave me a courtesy morning call to make sure I was ready for their arrival. Tyler and DT worked together to fill voids in my foundation and repair the cracks in my garage. They did everything they promised and more. The pictures below speak for themselves and show the great quality of their work. Tyler and DT were efficient, kept me informed about what they were doing at all times, and were very professional. Overall, the experience left me feeling informed, confident, and supported. I’m grateful for the honesty, transparency, and respect shown throughout the inspection, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Groundworks—especially Kristra and Derek—to anyone needing foundation services.

We contacted Groundworks and the sales rep came out and talked with us and looked at the area we needed lifting. He said there was no problem lifting the concrete to the pavement and in matching the pads back to each other and it would be leveled and would be ready to use in 15 minutes after the job was completed. The tech came out to do the work and said there were areas that they could not lift with our risks of damaging the pavement and recommend he stayed from that edge. He also said that the caulking he was going to apply needed to cure at least 24- 48 hours before use. He did a good job on the areas he could and caulked it and left. We still have areas that is holding water and has ice on it in the mornings causing slip hazards we were trying to get rid of. 1st update: Groundworks reached out to me and are going to see if some of the issues can be mitigated to improve the end results. 2nd update: I dropped my rating back down to 2 stars. I waited after the 1st update to hear from them but nobody has reached out to me. It seems that all they care about it getting their "star" rating up and not actually backing up their work or their word! Highly disappointed!

I have used Groundworks for several projects for my customers. From a concrete retaining wall/stamped patio lift to foundation repair, they have produced a consistent, quality product on each project. And even when coming across unseen difficulties ( such as crushing the sewer main for the house), they completely covered all repair costs as well as accommodations for my clients. Mark B. has come thru every time for my clients and myself and while not always reachable( due to when he winds up working rural areas), he responds as soon as he is able. If you have foundation issues, call Mark and Groundworks, and then call us for all the finish work 😁!!

Fantastic experience with Groundworks (Colo Spgs) so far! After submitting a request for a free inspection and estimate online, Mike Geiger, site inspector, contacted me by phone within an hour. He came all the way down to Pagosa Springs the next day. He was right on time. Very personable and professional. Reviewed our situation in detail, explained everything he saw in a very clear and understandable manner, answered all our questions knowledgably, and pointed out a couple of items to take care of before they do a lift of our concrete slab. Mike provided an itemized estimate while on site, and explained all the costs. We were happy to accept the estimate and get on the schedule to have such an obviously competent and reliable company do the work we need. Mike was such a pleasure to talk to and work with; I can't say enough good things about him! We are on their schedule to have the actual work done, but I wanted to provide this review even before that, since our initial contact with Groundworks was so good!! If you need a company for this kind of work, I highly recommend giving Groudworks, and Mike Geiger, a call. Just to be clear, I'm not being compensated in any way for this review; it is truly heartfelt!

Krista did a wonderful job. She started outside and had me show her my areas of concern and explained what was going to happen next with her inspection. Once the inspection was completed she showed me the areas that actually were an issue and the areas that were fine. She had created a diagram that went over what needed to be fixed and how each area would need be fixed since some were different. This was great for me because in one smaller area I was going to need an additional lower level of support. She explained what the lower level of support was and why I needed it in only that small area. After showing me everything and explaining how it would be fixed she made sure I didn't have any questions. We went over her estimate, what the process would be and then reviewed the contract. She again made sure I didn't have any questions before I signed the contract. I had a great experience with Groundworks and highly recommend Krista.

I wish I would have taken a before picture but I hated my garage floor. Now I love it! Jackson and Noah were super knowledgeable and really did a fantastic job! Anthony got us a great bid - several hundred dollars less than the big name mudjacker up in Denver 👍 Overall a terrific experience and have already given Groundworks info to 2 buddies 🤗

Groundworks did an excellent job with our crawlspace encapsulation and recently completed our annual maintenance review. The team was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain what they checked and why. Everything was clean, well-documented, and clearly maintained to a high standard. We appreciate the consistency and peace of mind knowing the system continues to perform as intended. Highly recommend Groundworks for both installation and ongoing maintenance.

Xavier (project manager) performed a thorough examination of the area of our concern. He laid out a plan to correct the issues, reviewed the contract with us, and explained the payment process. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable about what was required to complete the project. Darick (his manager) came along, as well, which is something Groundworks encourages to stay in touch with prospective clients and the folks who are in the field. We agreed to have the work done, and look forward to successful completion of the project.
