Gary is amazing! I bought a new dresser and when it was delivered and unboxed there was a flaw on it where the paint had come off a corner. We called the manufacturer and they contacted Gary to come out and fix it for us. He came in and was very good with my 2 dogs and friendly. He fixed the paint and to this day you can not see where the flaw was! I was so impressed with his service, I asked him about other pieces of furniture in my home that I have owned. I highly recommend Gary with Furniture Medic for any furniture repair needs! I will recommend him to people in the area when I hear of potential customers.

My moving company scrapped my hardwood flooring. Gary was hired by the moving company. He spent hours applying some crayon looking stuff on the floor, added a hardening agent and told me to clean off the residue in 24 hours. 24 hours later, I went to wipe off the residue and all the work he did wiped off. He returned and said I needed to sand all my hardwood, stain and apply topcoat...$2200. Well thanks for nothing. Nice guy but seemed amateur at best. I hired crew to redo hardwood floor.

Gary Muto is very good at his job! I work for a moving company in the claims dept. and I have used Gary twice for repairs, both customers were very happy, thought he was professional and courteous, and would recommend him to anyone! Great job Gary and thank you for the exceptional work!

My family had a water leak that caused three kitchen cabinets and our 48" island to suffer water damage. The cabinet that was beside the refrigerator had mold two-thirds of the way up the back. I wanted to have the cabinets replaced but my insurance company insisted that the cabinets and island just be repaired and wanted us to use Furniture Medic. Once I finally got the contact information and was able to get in contact with Gary, the owner, it was difficult to pin him down as to when he could come and look at the damage much less pick up the cabinets to begin working on the repairs. When he did finally come to pick up the cabinets he brought his jeep with a luggage rack on the back. He stuffed the three kitchen cabinets inside the car and strapped the island on the luggage carrier. If I had not been home to help him I don't know how he would have loaded all the cabinets. When it came time get the cabinets back it was equally as hard to pin Gary down to a date which he had to cancel and reschedule more than once. We had to all but force him to install the kitchen cabinets so that the flooring could be installed. When I got home and saw the cabinets the first thing I noticed was that the kick panels were not installed which means they would not extend below the flooring. Secondly I noticed that a three inch piece of the laminate on the side of the cabinet near the stove was broken off. My wife said that Gary told her that the counter top was not damaged by the water damage so he did not fix it. No doubt the laminate was broken as a result of him stuffing them into his car. After the flooring was installed is was once again difficult to get a commitment as to when he would deliver and install the island which had to be rescheduled. When I called him he wanted to use plywood to "Rebuild" the island and I took him I did not want to use plywood because I wanted it to match the rest of the cabinets. He told me he would not use plywood and he would start rebuilding the island only a week before we wanted it installed. He called me the day before to tell me that the stain he used was not curing fast enough and he would need to reschedule and that he was able to repair the island instead of rebuilding it like we were told. This caused me to doubt whether he truly rebuilt the cabinets like the invoice said he was getting paid for and especially whether he removed the wood on the cabinet with mold. When he brought the island back one of the corner molding was cracked and split showing that once again Gary did not go out of his way at all to fulfill his end of the bargain he invoiced for. I would not and will not recommend this company to anyone. Gary showed on more than one occasion that he has not much concern for the reputation of his business. By far this was one of the poorest services I have had in a long time. Buyer be ware.

Gary does an amazing job , enjoys, and takes pride in his work. He fixed multiple wood casements and frames in my house and made them look flawless (after I had miserably failed trying to do it myself with supplies from Home Depot). I thought it would be easy to do, but it takes skill, and he is meticulous. More recently, I bought a buffet cabinet for my office on Craig's List. I asked him to restore and refinish it. He brought paint samples to my office, understood the style I wanted, and even added locks to the cabinetry. His pricing is very fair. All-in-all, he's a pleasure to work with.

We had some of our furniture that was in stateside storage while in Germany delivered and arrived broken. The agency that is handling our case had it inspected by Gary. He came out took pictures and said he would send his report to the company so we could either get it repaired or if they would just pay us for the broken pieces. Gary said he was behind and it would take about a week to complete the report and send it to the company. 3 weeks go by and I haven't heard anything so I called Gary and left a voicemail which he never returned my call. Over the next 3 days I call him and finally get a hold of him after several attempts. He said he still hadn't even completed the report. He told me that he set an alarm in his phone to finish it yesterday but he will switch it to today.... yeah okay... he said I will get it done and the company should be calling me monday.. well they didnt and we called the moving company on Wednesday and she said that he hasn't sent her the report. She said he told her he would get it to her by Friday.. we call back Monday and he still hasn't sent out the report. We are unfortunately still dealing with this and really just want it to be over. So now we have 5 big furniture pieces taking up space but can't do anything about it until Gary actually does his job. Horrible company to say the least.
