Wow- Brothers Flooring did incredible work on our 1920s house with a mid-century addition. We pulled up some terribly installed vinyl, planning to install laminate instead, and were thrilled to discover original hardwood underneath! However, several wood flooring specialty contractors declined to take on the job and encouraged us to start over with all new wood on top of the original planks, mostly due to damage to some of the unusual boards (2" wide by 1/2" thick tongue-in-groove red oak vs. modern 2.25" wide by 3/4" thick boards), some very weird and uneven subfloor from who knows when, and our desire to extend the wood flooring to include the kitchen area, which previously had stick-on tile with crappy vinyl on top. Enter Brothers Flooring, my last hope to keep the original wood: they arrived on-time for the estimate and talked through our options for addressing the complex subfloor situation, damaged portions of unusual boards, and our hope to extend the wood to include the open kitchen area. They were quickly able to special-order the uncommon wood and were clear in communicating the timeline, allowing us to plan around when work would begin. Chad did all of the work on our floors, and I see why he's the go-to guy for such complex jobs! He has been doing this for almost as long as I've been alive, and the experience shows in how he was able to make our uneven subfloor meld with the existing floor, braid in new boards to replace damaged portions, work with the addition, and carefully sand down the thin original wood to give it a beautiful finish. Chad was clear in communicating the plan, gave ample updates on progress, and answered the many questions I had throughout the process. Our house feels so much brighter, warmer, and we are so glad we were able to keep the original hardwood floors! I highly recommend Brothers Flooring for any project you have.

Brothers Flooring is a professional, trustworthy and top quality flooring contractor I highly recommend. They are my family’s go-to contractor for any hardwood flooring project, large or small. First worked with Brothers in 2010 for a water damage restoration project and have used them for three hardwood floor replacement projects since. I don’t even bother getting multiple quotes with the full confidence I have in the quality of their work, excellent customer service and price competitiveness. Most recently I hired Brothers to replace 400 square feet of the original 97 year old oak flooring in a Denver bungalow. Chad managed and performed the project and he absolutely nailed it. Chad is a consummate professional, highly skilled with a superb attention to detail. Beyond that, he’s just a great guy to work with. The job was tough. After 97 years, there were some crazy things uncovered when the old floors were removed to deal with. We had several unused vent holes to finish over. Parts of the subfloor had sunk or deteriorated requiring installation and leveling new subfloor. We previously didn’t have a water line to the fridge and Chad figured out the best way to run a new line. Chad was not phased and had the experience and skill to navigate the unique challenges without cutting any corners. I’m not an easy customer, an engineer with a fine attention to detail who doesn’t settle for poor quality. It was quickly apparent Chad is just as demanding of quality work and he delivered. The new floors look amazing and have transformed the look and feel of the house. From quoting with Dan, to scheduling with Angelica and the final product from Chad, it’s great working with the whole crew at Brothers. I’ll be calling them for my next project and strongly recommend Brothers Flooring.

BROTHERS FLOORING NEEDS TO BE YOUR GO TO GUYS!! My parents installed our hardwood floors over 20 years ago so saying these floors were rough is an understatement, add in that we have also had dogs the entire time… Meaning that these floors were really really bad (deep scratches, urine stains, deep ingrained grime, water damage from dishwasher/ dog bowls, etc..). I also needed the master bedrooms’ carpet removed and LVP installed. I spent hours researching the best company in the area and had many come to our home to give me a quote which ranged from over $8,000 to $4,000. The lower end had the least reviews but they seemed to care the most and the most honest review of my floors. I needed to rush the work so they were able to move things around and Chad showed up 3 days later to start the work. LET ME TELL YOU- Chad is amazing. He was so friendly, honest, personable and I trust him 100% with my parents and our home. It only took 3 days for him to make our home look AMAZING (refinish the floor and install LVP) . I would 10000% recommend them to every person I know. Look at these before and after pictures- My floors have never looked this good!!!!! Please call these guys, I promise you will not regret it.
