What a great company. Ryan came over and assessed the situation. After a couple of changes on our part, a final price was agreed upon. The job ended up being much harder than expected however the price remained rhe same. Removing mastic containing asbestos as well as tiles, linoleum, and glued down hard wood, the guys did a great job. We have seen complaints about paint damage and staple marks from the barrier plastic, this slight damage is completely normal and okay. Better to fix a staple hole then deal with asbestos. We highly recommend this company and had nothing but the best experience. The photos are pre removal and the video is post. Concrete was in bad shape, not from abatement company, but from age. Flooring company fixed that later.

Disappointed with the driving behavior of one of this company’s pickup truck drivers. They drove aggressively, weaving through traffic as if they were in a compact car. We were in a clearly marked zipper merge, and instead of merging properly, the driver either didn’t understand how it works or chose to ignore it entirely. Unsafe and inconsiderate behavior like this reflects poorly on the company. I hope they provide better training for their drivers.

I would recommend avoiding CVE at all costs if you are looking for asbestos abatement. I hired them to decontaminate our new home from a previous asbestos release, with the scope including HEPA vac and wiping all surfaces. The job was supposed to start Monday and finish Tuesday with CVE bringing in a 3rd party air clearance tester. Problems started almost immediately when their “3rd party” tester refused to perform any dust sampling (he claimed regulations only allowed air sampling, which I’ve been told since is 100% false) and he canceled the visit after I asked about it. Really suspicious behavior. Keep in mind that it’s fairly easy to pass an air clearance test with air scrubbers running, but a microvac TEM will show you if your surfaces have truly been cleaned properly, which is important to know that you won’t simply be stirring up asbestos dust long after the abatement. Technically any dust in the work area is cause for an inspection to fail the “visual” portion regardless. I had to find a new CAC on my own to come in and do testing after CVE’s guy canceled, luckily after about an hour of calling around I found one available that evening who had no problem running both the air clearance and TEM microvac testing. However, when we arrived at the property, there was still visible dust in many areas of the home that had clearly not been cleaned. CVE sent the crew back out the next day, and same story again. Many areas of the home still dirty, often in the exact same spots our tester specifically took photos of and emailed to them the night before. So that was Wednesday. The same exact thing happened Thursday through Saturday. I’m writing this now on Sunday and my house is still not clean. The cherry on top is that after days of back and forth trying to get the house clean, and finally thinking they had finished the job after swapping crews, I discovered that NONE of the loose items within the home had been cleaned. As in CVE literally just moved items into a few piles, covered them with plastic sheeting, and cleaned the house, but never decontaminated the items themselves. They were all still covered in dust. Sound like a complicated job? It wasn’t. This is only a 1,200 sq ft home that hasn’t been moved into yet. The only items in the home are a handful of tools and misc parts for remodeling. The rest of the home is completely empty, no furniture, no food, nothing. And get this— I took off work Thurs morning to go meet the crew on-site and walk through the home together to make sure everyone was on the same page and hopefully resolve any miscommunication so we could get the job done and move on. I asked what time they thought they would finish up so I could coordinate with the clearance tester. The foreman told me point blank he could probably finish the job in a few hours but that CVE “would probably want him to stay and milk it for the whole day”. Can’t make this stuff up! Of course they didn’t finish that day, and the security cameras showed nobody was even on the upper level of the home until about 15 min before they told my tester to arrive. Makes sense that we found plenty of dust up there once again. We had contractors scheduled for renovation work Wed-Sat (CVE was made aware of this from the very beginning and promised to finish by Tues evening) which is now indefinitely delayed since they have other jobs scheduled this upcoming week. Meaning we will have to delay our move-in date and find temporary storage and lodging in the meantime. They also damaged our flooring, HVAC ducts, dryer vent, light fixture, and sump pump. And to no small extent, many of these need to be fixed or replaced and I’m having to spend additional time getting quotes etc. Honesty, integrity, and professionalism are important traits for any business, especially one you are trusting to take care of hazardous materials in your home. I unfortunately have to say that CVE has shown none of them. Hoping this review helps other homeowners avoid the trouble I’m dealing with.

The interiors of our two cars, garage, and laundry room were contaminated with a thick layer of silica dust when the plumbers used a dry cement cutter to cut through our sidewalk. Rodolfo came to our home immediately after our call and had his crew begin the abatement work the very next day. Rodolfo went out of his way to help us with our claim against the plumbing company and was always available for all of our questions. He and his entire crew were very professional, courteous, and helpful. They did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

I had an unfortunate plumbing situation that caused sewage to back up into two bathrooms on the ground floor, requiring abatement services. Luckily, I got to work with Joe Cuevas from CVE. In a difficult and costly situation Joe was so easy to work with. He answered all of my questions. Response time was always immediate, if he wasn't available at the moment he would let me know, and gave accurate time frames on when he would get back to me! His workers were on site when he said they would be, and they did a great job. I appreciate that Joe took the time to explain to me everything that was being done and the why. I had a lot of questions and he always responded with good advice. I really appreciate the great customer service he provided, which is as important as the work being done. His communication and effort made the frustrations I experienced with the plumbing and restoration companies l've had to work with during this same cleanup stick out like a sore thumb. Thanks Joe! I would absolutely recommend this company to all of my friends, family, and anyone out there that requires abatement cleanup services!

I HIGHLY recommend CVE for asbestos abatement work--they removed asbestos-containing drywall from an interior wall and ceiling for a kitchen remodel. Rodolfo at CVE coordinated the job, communicated clearly, promptly followed-up with me on all of my questions, and worked efficiently with the foreman on site. The remediation team showed up on time, was able to make a last-minute change to the scope of work for me, did a fantastic job, and still somehow managed to finish early and under budget.

How should I say this, they deserve more than 5 stars…from the beginning Martin’s gentle persistence and good spirit with friendly personality that earned my business. After their job finished than other worker’s for different field were start entry at sites as well, than I found a small issue of personal item had damaged, I questioned! The CVE company of contractor Braydon immediately contract me and solved the issue within a days. In today’s world having to know the integrity still exists among us, I am so blessed to have this opportunity work with them on these projects of put property back to normal without any headaches, just want to say thank you to you two and your team. BTW I have no problem referring them to anyone. Thank you for reading.

It is difficult to adequately express the kind of wonderful service and attention given to us by CVE. Our condo was contaminated by asbestos while we lived in another state. We were beside ourselves with worry but Braydon and Rodolfo put our minds at ease. They were patient with us, listened to our concerns and gave us honest recommendations (not everyone does). Braydon and Rodolfo maintained constant communications with us while they took care of our condo while we were out of state. When we finally arrived in town, they accommodated our schedule to meet with us and perform additional work. The CVE work crew was all business. They worked efficiently and left the condo clean. CVE gave us peace of mind when we needed it most. A professional, courteous and caring company. We cannot thank them enough.

Unfortunately, we had to do restoration project. Fortunately, I came across CVE and chose them based on my interview over other companies recommended by our insurance and "experts". Am I glad we chose them! They beat everybody on price and their workmanship was superior quality. Going above and beyond, VP(Jason), project manager (Juan), and team members flawlessly handled tricky issues with tenants and insurance. Hope not to have restorations any time soon but if we do will hire CVE again!
