Oof, do I have a doozy of a tale about this company. First off, I witnessed them dumping their dirty water onto my neighbor's driveway, where it flowed down into the gutter. So obviously my first assumption was that it was an employee behaving irresponsibly, so I contacted to business to let them know. Turns out it was the owner himself doing the dumping. He called me and I told him what happened, and he tried to lie to me and tell me that he dumped it into the neighbor's gravel and it didn't run down into the gutter and there were no chemicals, just "slightly dirty water." In the state of California, it's littering to dump anything but pure clean water on the ground. I called bs as I had seen him do it with my own two eyes, and I had recorded a video of it happening. I told him I would be reporting him to the appropriate agencies and that he should stop doing that. He called me again and I did not answer. He left a voicemail I did not listen to. Then he began to text me. He said I wasn't a nice person and he felt sorry for me. I told him to stop contacting me or I would contact the police about the harassment. He continued to text me. He called me a jerk and a harasser. Attached are screen shots of the texts, and screen grabs from the video as I cannot post the video itself here. Maybe just pick a different carpet cleaning service. Or better yet, just clean your carpets yourself. It's not difficult at all, and you can have the satisfaction of a job well done without our waterways being polluted.
