I had a great experience working with Renew Pro Restoration. Mine was a small job involving moisture behind the washing room sink cabinets, but I was referred to by a co-worker who had a major kitchen restoration project done by them and she was extremely satisfied, so I felt comfortable moving forward with this company. The lead person Chris was professional, and very clear about what needed to be done. He really knows how to communicate with you throughout the process. They first identified the source of the moisture and got it fixed, then did the rest of the remediation. It took time, but it was done right. I also appreciated that they focused on doing only what was necessary, unlike some companies that go crazy. The team paid attention to details, and left everything clean without any issues. If you’re in the North County San Diego area and looking for a good company for water damage or mold problems, I’d recommend them.

Great Experience with RenewPro Restoration We discovered a serious mold/mildew problem behind our bathroom cabinets and had no idea how to handle it. It was stressful, and we were worried about it. Cleaning it ourselves wasn’t going to solve the problem. We found a local company called RenewPro Restoration. So, we gave them a call. Chris responded quickly, explained everything clearly, and gave us a budget-friendly quote. They actually found the source which was a small pipe fitting leak, and it was fixed. They carefully removed part of the cabinet, baseboard, and minimal section of drywall. Then the team thoroughly dried, sanitized, and fully restored the area all within a few days. Friendly, professional, and efficient. Highly recommend.

After living with the results for a while, we can confidently say the restoration Renew Pro Restoration completed still looks great, and we haven’t had any problems related to the original water issue since everything was finished. I believe they defend their 5-star status! Since then, we’ve referred Renew Pro to two other people, and both shared that they had the same positive experience. They also specifically mentioned Chris, the project manager, as being especially helpful and easy to work with. Normally, we wouldn’t bother writing a follow-up review, but based on our experience and the feedback we’ve heard since, this one feels warranted. ORIGINAL POST By the time we noticed that our water filtration system had been leaking for months the water had spread into the lunchroom and caused significant damage. To make matters worse, our insurance company wasn’t much help. They told us that certain parts of the damage weren’t covered. A real hassle. So, we did some research and picked RenewPro Restoration. They quickly assessed the damage and Chris the project manager gave us a quote that came in lower than we expected. They even dealt directly with our insurance company to get the process moving and within a few days the space was completely dried and repaired. I spoke with the owner Chris in two occasions, one for my owned home in which he came down for a free quote and free inspection and he was really educated about mold, helped me understand more and assured me they would use the proper remediation techniques. He understands mold and ERMI which is difficult to find. He believes in mold illness and all the health issues it can create without judgment. He’s the sweetest man I’ve met in San Diego, always helping others, helping people that don’t have a big budget and helping dealing with claims and anything emotional you are going through. Unfortunately I had to hire a different company since I had asbestos but I hired him for my rental some months later and he helped me convincing my landlord of mold issues and to perform the job at a really good price, even when the job turned much bigger than what anticipated. I saw he used all the proper techniques and material and was very careful to set up containment. He’s definitely a person I’d like to have as a friend since it’s not common finding empathic workers with a big heart that really care about their clients and you as a person without just looking at you as income.
