Against my initial instincts I spoke to Peter at my house and I'm glad I did. Peter, Andrew and their teams are the best at what they do. We had a water leak in our walls and had to deal with insurance. They repaired the walls and ceiling. Our whole upstairs had glued down flooring which they had to remove and replace. Everyone we worked with was great. They were on time. They helped us understand the insurance and worked with us to make sure the flooring was what we wanted. They made sure to let us know if something wasn't safe and helped us to let insurance know so we could make sure our job was done correctly and safely. From rebuilding a leaky bathroom and a complete kitchen overhaul, to patching walls, repainting, and installing beautiful laminate flooring, Advanced Construction & Restoration tackled the entire project with precision and care. Peter's design sense is impeccable, and his team's work ethic is second to none. We were initially concerned about balancing our budget with the scope of the work, but Peter provided thoughtful guidance and solutions, ensuring we used high-quality materials without breaking the bank. All materials came from reputable suppliers like Home Depot, so we never had to worry about shoddy workmanship or cheap, inferior materials. For the flooring, We're so grateful for Peter's meticulous approach! He was the only ones who suggested removing all the floor tiles to ensure a perfect, flat surface for the laminate floor. Other companies told us the tiles would be fine, but Peter insisted it would result in a stunning floor, and they were absolutely right! The outcome is even better than we imagined. We wholeheartedly recommend their attention to detail and dedication to quality. Crucially, we rebuilt the bathroom for accessibility for our aging parents. The result? An amazing, stunning curbless shower, thoughtfully designed with every detail considered. Peter and the team truly went above and beyond. Peter and Andy made sure to keep us in the loop with everything that was going on in the house by staying in constant communication with us. The team were very professional and kind. Due to a home insurance claim with water damage on the inside of our home, we needed to find a construction company that could start work asap as we were eager to get our home back to normal. Peter and Andy were very communicative from the time we first reached out until the job was complete. They were very knowledgeable about the insurance process and helped us get insurance to cover what was needed in terms of repairing/replacing. When our insurance company stalled in the process, Peter told me what to do and say to them and made himself available for every phone call. They made sure we had access to our washer/dryer throughout the job as our damage was in the laundry room. Throughout the job, Alex showed us what work they completed that day and altered/fixed things we weren't completely satisfied with. This was one of the least stressful parts of the home insurance claim and we are so happy to have our home back to normal.
