On Nov 18,2024 I had a large water leak from my upstairs bathroom going through the ceiling downstairs to my bar area. The Plumber suggested I higher echo dry restoration and they came out within an hour. They said everything needed a dry out process so they brought in fans and quickly taped off the areas for their air scrubbers to dry out the ceilings and walls and flooring upstairs and downstairs. They said they had to be there for 24 hours to two days. They forgot to turn on the fans upstairs so the first day nothing was done upstairs until I found the fan that was turned off and turned it on myself they demanded I signed paperwork stating that they would Charge my insurance, but the paperwork had no pricing so it was like giving a blank check and I didn’t understand what I was signing as it all happened so fast. The next day I found out that my insurance had a cap for water damage of $10,000 per incident. they also called a company called Elite Pack out to pack up into boxes, the things from my bar downstairs and put them in another room. I find it strange that they have the same worded paperwork with no pricing that they required me to sign. After not even 48 hours later, I told them to come remove their equipment from my home as I realized that what they were doing was not going to help as it was all going to have to be ripped out for restoration and reconstruction and $10,000 was not even going to begin to cover the damage that was done Since they ripped out my ceiling and flooring and left huge holes leading up to the attic. Echo dry charged my insurance $9800 for the “work” that they did, and I was told by my insurance adjuster that they would not be paid as it was an exaggerated amount for the service and then I would be paid directly and would have to deal with it with them myself. Spencer contacted me and demanded that I pay the $9800. I told him that that was way over charged for less than 48 hours of drying and that my contractor told me it did nothing as it would all have to be ripped out and replaced and that they should’ve known that and that was a scam. He pressured me to pay $2000 for their services. I told him that this was unfair since what they did left my house in shambles and I was now going to have to pay even more to have it reconstructed. My reconstruction of my house is still not done and it’s costing me $25,000. Brooke has been contacting me via text and phone demanding that I pay three payments of $666 to satisfy my debt to them. I don’t appreciate being harassed over work that they knowingly would not help my situation. This company is a scam being that they pay plumbers commissions to get them business for work that doesn’t help your situation at all and is way overpriced. They have been threatening to put a lien on my property. I feel that my only other recourse is contacting an attorney, which is even more stressful, considering being under reconstruction of my house out-of-pocket for the last five months. they made a stressful situation unbearable. Do not hire them!

Professional company, all of their employees that I came in contact with were polite, and did a good job. I believe some names were Rafael, Sebastian, and Mikey was particularly helpful. I've never needed to deal with a company in their line of work before, but they were fine to deal with. Good communication throughout the process. Recommend them.

Here is why I would not recommend this company. Shortly after moving into a Sun City home, I called a plumber for a toilet leak and repair, and then they recommended EcoDry Restoration to repair previous water damage to the wall behind the toilet. They came out within one hour. They said the damage would be dried out over a few days, the bathroom would undergo demolition to remove the affected area, and then the insurance would write me a check for the rebuild stage. Evan put tape on the wall to mark where work may be needed, and samples were cut out of some drywall to test for mold, lead, and asbestos. The communication with EcoDry Restoration was very poor. In general, I felt like everything I was told was either false, misleading, or not consistent with previous conversations. About three weeks after the visit, I received a bill for the mitigation process – 3 hours for setting up the drying equipment, monitoring the drying equipment, and removing the drying equipment along with a $150 gasoline charge caught my attention. I called Evan, the representative who came to my home on that one visit, to say this work had not happened, and he agreed it did not happen so it should not have been on the bill. Unfortunately, the bills kept coming unchanged, about one per week, and I repeatedly replied that the work was never done, so it should be removed from the bill. The response I received from Aaron at EcoDry Restoration was that the equipment charged was for the work done by the technicians and his response never changed. Maybe it was an AI program I was communicating with?? Read the Better Business reviews before hiring this company. They are all consistent for this company - lack integrity, are comfortable with fraudulent statements and charges, and overcharging.

I had NO idea what the industry of Water Damage Mitigation was all about until the day I had an overly saturated carpet in my master bedroom closet. The plumbing company recommended Eco-Dry and they were a blessing from the moment we called them. Evan B. was my main contact and was incredibly patient with my lack of knowledge of this industry. He explained the timeline, the potential outcomes and recommended a local construction company to repair the damages. Evan was incredibly professional, timely and his communication style was much appreciated. Once the water damage area was identified we had Beasley & Vance who, over a few hours, removed a portion of a large bathroom cabinet and a few square areas of sheetrock. When they left, the area remained for over two days with drying equipment directed behind the sink, on both sides of the wall and under the carpet. Beasley was incredibly kind, professional in all communication and I truly appreciated his gentle care while all aspect of my home. Additional team member that were kind: Sylissa came by a few times to very is the area was dry and finally JoseLuis & Jacob came by to pick up the equipment and make sure all was cleaned up. The entire team was positive, professional and had such a great attitude as they came through my home!

"I had a leak in my kitchen and called my insurance company right away. They sent a gentleman out to assess the problem, and when I mentioned my water damage coverage, he wisely suggested I contact my water insurance provider. I did, and within minutes, a gentleman called me back to get things started. I worked with Mikey from EcoDry, and he was wonderful. The next day, they were out to fix the leak. Once that was done, the following day they returned to tear down the affected drywall and kick off the restoration. Before touching the cabinets, they put up a tarp to contain the dust and mess in the kitchen area. They were incredibly kind and gentle when removing my appliances—the cabinets and countertops were carefully relocated, and they set up fans to dry everything out thoroughly. They showed up on time, every time, as promised. Everything went exceptionally well; they were professional, kind, and even had a great sense of humor to keep things light. They explained each step clearly, so I always knew what was happening and how the process would unfold. I even left my house key with them to lock up while I attended an appointment—they cleaned up the kitchen spotlessly afterward and secured the place. I highly recommend EcoDry—they made a tough situation feel manageable and stress-free."

Eco dry came to my house and started ripping out the wall and everything before insurance approved it. I have been without a kitchen for over a month now, still have open holes in my walls because they want to take their sweet time getting things sent over to insurance company to get approved so I can have a contractor come in and fix everything up. Very unprofessional hard to get in touch with someone on the phone the initial guy, Alex that came out and did everything is no longer with the company. I am highly disappointed with this company I don’t understand how they are in business still. No longer have equipment in my house lucky but this is how they left it .

I hired this company based upon the recommendation of a plumber they work with. The plumber did a decent job at repairing a leak on a hot water pipe, but said I had black mold and needed Ecodry's service. They sent a crew out and it was a bad experience from the moment they walked into the garage. Basically these guys tore holes in the walls, left a huge mess, and tried to get me to lie for insurance. They said I could get a "completely remodeled den" if I would lie to State Farm. I just wanted my hot water heater fixed. Not to rip off my insurance company in order to get a new den. State Farm told me there's a class action law suit against this company, and I can see why. I recommend using another company... Or, you could ask a guy standing outside Home Depot. A random stranger off the street could not do a worse job than Ecodry did in my den and garage....

I had an unexpected hot water heater failure that caused water damage around the heater. Mikey Crowell from EcoDry Resteration came out the same day and assessed the damage and told me the steps EcoDry would take to move the process of removing damaged material, drying out materials that were not removed, and work with my home owners insurance. Mikey kept every promise made. Gilberto and his service team we easy to work with and showed up exactly as promised, confirming everything was sufficiently dried, and removed the portable dryers. I would highly recommend EcoDry Restoration.
