⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience with Adams Disaster & Restoration after experiencing a water loss in my home. From the first call to the completion of the job, their team was professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. They came out quickly, assessed the damage thoroughly, and explained the entire remediation process so I knew exactly what to expect. Their workmanship was excellent, and it was clear they have a lot of experience in water damage restoration. The crew worked efficiently while still paying close attention to detail, and they treated my home with care and respect. What really impressed me was their timeliness and reliability. They showed up when they said they would, kept me informed throughout the process, and completed the work in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. Their experience truly shows in the way they handle every step of the restoration. Dealing with water damage can be stressful, but Adams Disaster & Restoration made the process smooth and worry-free. I would absolutely recommend Adams Disaster & Restoration to anyone needing water damage remediation or restoration services.

Edit: If you had a terrible experience with your insurance and you used Elite Rooter and they called Adams. Leave a review and reach out to me, we are already building a case. We can stop them from hurting thousands of others and manipulating people with their fake reviews. Stay Away – Worst “Restoration” Company Experience in all my years of homeownership. My Opinion, and my account. If I could give zero stars, I would. Adams Disaster & Restoration has been the single worst vendor experience of my life, and I need to warn others before you make the same mistake. 1. Preferred Vendor Trap I was steered into Adams through a plumber who claimed they “do this all the time” and would handle the insurance. What I didn’t know (and was never explained to me) is that Adams is not a preferred vendor for Allstate. That meant endless fights, delays, and finger-pointing between Adams and the insurer while my home sat gutted for months. If your insurance company doesn’t list them as a preferred vendor, that’s a giant red flag. 2. Incomplete and Defective Work After more than 160+ days (on a job quoted at 2–4 weeks), my condo work is still ongoing. Luckily, I have involved the ROC to ensure they will do things properly. 3. Abysmal Customer Service I left hundreds of messages over 100+ days with no response from the owner. I finally had to drive up in person, take a full day off work, and sit in their filthy office until he came out. Instead of accountability, I got excuses, denial, and finger-pointing. Every time I spoke they cut me off, contradicted themselves, and just refused to make any sort of acknowledgment of their faults. 4. Filthy Office & False Image They brag about being “successful for over 20 years,” but their office tells the real story: stains on the walls, crumbs everywhere, and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in decades. Their website is just as outdated and unhelpful — a reflection of their sloppy workmanship and management. 5.Similar Stories I’ve filed a Registrar of Contractors complaint, dealt with BBB filings, and even regulators acknowledge how messy this is. From my conversations with other previous clients of this company, I’m not the only homeowner trapped in this nightmare. Bottom Line: Do not let your insurance or plumber push you toward Adams. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and incapable of completing a project within a reasonable time. Their customer service, project management, vendor relationships, and workmanship are all garbage. Save yourself months of stress, money, and heartache — stay far away.

When I discovered the water damage in my home, I was completely overwhelmed and honestly panicked. I didn’t know who to call or what to do first, and the stress of the situation felt unbearable. Finding Adams Disaster & Restoration was truly a blessing during one of the most stressful moments I’ve experienced as a homeowner. From the very first phone call, they treated me with kindness, patience, and understanding. They didn’t make me feel rushed or uninformed—they took the time to listen, explain the process, and reassure me that everything was going to be okay. That alone meant more to me than I can put into words. They came out quickly and immediately took control of the situation. Their experience and confidence were evident from the start, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing my home was in capable hands. The crew was incredibly professional, respectful, and compassionate throughout the entire process. Their workmanship was excellent, and they paid close attention to every detail while treating my home as if it were their own. What could have been a nightmare turned into a manageable situation because of Adams Disaster & Restoration. They showed up on time, communicated clearly, and followed through on everything they promised. In a moment when I felt helpless, they truly became my saving grace. I am beyond grateful for Adams Disaster & Restoration and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone facing water damage or restoration needs. They didn’t just restore my home—they gave me peace of mind when I needed it most.

Do Not Use These People for anything. They came to our house a year ago and Destroyed things to get more money out of the insurance company. All we needed was our lower cabinets replaced and counter and we had the whole house drywall cut from the floor 2 feet up all around. They had a huge bill and we were going to be on the hook for like 12k when I have done plenty of remodels. So we decided not to use them. They have a contract that doesnt have our signature on it and was signed by their repair guy. Not a forged signature but he just spelled out her name on the paper where the signature would go.There was also 7 line items that we were supposed to signature and we didnt and line 7 says we would agree to a canelation fee. So what the real issue is now they sold our debt to a debt collector and or collections saiying we signed the paper work. Now they say it is out of their hands and we must talk to this very agressive debt collector and they want 9k dollars from us for canceling something we didnt sign. Shady from the beginning and commits fraud towards your insurance company. Edit: As our attorney pointed out that there isnt more bad reviews cause they make the home owner sign it up front that you will not slam them on any social media. But im not on there and it was my experience too. Now they are claiming that we signed everything but what they left out is that we only signed that we were Authorizing the water mitigation and no where on that is there anything about a cancelation fee that we owe 30 percent. But there is lots of things you should probably be worried about on that one. What they dont have is a signature or initials on the TBD Work authorization form which does have that 30 percent. What you should worry about is the language in which it states that if an employee fills out the paperwork on your behalf you are liable. That is not lawful. Its a scare tactic. So I will update this when we file suit. Also they claim cause the estimator came out we owe them for that time. we are talking a few hours not no 8 plus thousand we are at now with so called debt collector

I am writing this to warn others about the predatory and fraudulent business practices of Adams D&R and their partner, Elite Rooter. This company attempted to use my home to commit insurance fraud and is now harassing me with threatening letters despite being caught. The "Staged" Fraud Adams D&R brought equipment into my home, staged it for photos to send to my insurance company, and removed the equipment immediately after the photos were taken. They explicitly asked me to lie to my insurance company about the equipment being there. Because I have an autistic child who cannot tolerate the noise of industrial drying equipment, I would never have agreed to this—yet they attempted to bill for "services" that lasted only as long as it took to click a camera shutter. Negligence and Collusion • The Scam: This appears to be a coordinated effort with Elite Rooter to invent "emergencies" and bill insurance for work never performed. • Incompetence: They were so disorganized they couldn't even get my phone number correct for a month, leading to zero communication or actual mitigation work. • Evidence: My insurance adjuster visited the home the very next day. His photos confirm no equipment was present, contradicting the fraudulent photos Adams D&R submitted. He is prepared to testify to this fact. Ongoing Harassment Despite multiple notifications that no work was performed and that I am aware of their attempt at fraud, Adams D&R continues to send threatening letters. I have already done the necessary repairs myself (as the "damage" they claimed was non-existent) and have been cleared by my insurance. Final Warning: If you value your integrity and your bank account, stay away from Adams D&R. I am currently retaining legal counsel to address their fraudulent claims and harassment. See you in court.
